From the moment we walked through the door our stay was nothing but wonderful. The home the charming, comfortable, and clean. Our hostesses, Myriam and Hilde, we're very welcoming and quite delightful. Breakfast was always delicious and generous. A wealth of information, Myriam was extremely helpful with navigating the area.

We visit the Bishop/Mammoth area a few times a year, usually camping. This time we only had a few days and decided to stay in a hotel. While perusing Trip Advisor, I saw this place and based upon the other recommendations we decided to try it. We loved it! The house is charming with spacious rooms and a large outdoor... More

This was a lovely house beautifully furnished & set in extensive gardens. We were made very welcome & had an excellent breakfast. Our hostess gave us good advice about an evening meal & our route for the next day.

Previous reviews have been very complimentary and having stayed for 3 nights I can understand why. The accommodation is excellent with spacious rooms, a lovely lounge, a delightful patio area and a real treat in the shape of an extensive garden in which to roam/sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Add to this a very welcoming and helpful hostess... More

The Joseph House Inn is lovely and Myriam and Hilde were absolutely great. We enjoyed sitting in the beautiful yard and relaxing and reading. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was wonderful and they were able to handle my one dietary restriction. What makes inns memorable though are friendly innkeepers and you could not... More

What a wonderful find! Myriam is a wonderful host and makes you feel very well looked after. We were greeted with a glass of wine to unwind in their beautiful garden. The room was well sized with good facilities. There was wifi but it was slightly patchy. Breakfast was served on the patio in the garden and was always a... More

We were very impressed with the Joseph House Inn, not expecting such luxury in Bishop. The location is walking distance to restaurants and main street, yet the setting is beautiful, serene and tranquil as the vast 3 acre grounds are well maintained. Our room was lovely and so very comfortable, and the hosts, Myriam and Hilde were delightful while providing... More

Drive down the busy H395, with all the trucks. Turn into West Yaney Street and you will wonder what you are letting yourself into. Turn in to The Joseph House Inn, and the magic begins. From the well kept gardens, to the house itself. Be met at the door by Hilde and Miriam. Enter the hall and see the sitting... More

After spending several nights in traditional hotels, we were very pleased to be welcomed to the beautiful Joseph House Inn in Bishop, CA. Hilde and her daughter, Myriam treated us to a delightful stay in their clean, quiet and charming home. They served us a wonderful breakfast the next morning, and bade us fair well like old friends.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for one night after a day driving through Yosemite and on our way to Arizona. - Bishop seemed to be a good place to stop. We had already booked in at the Joseph House Inn but didn't really know what to expect. Have to say - it was a total delight!... More
