Stayed one night en route to the desert. The room was beautifully decorated, homely and very clean with a comfortable bed. The owners were very warm and friendly from the start and made us some awsome French toast for breakfast. We didn't have the opportunity to explore the gardens but they looked quite inviting. Highly recommended.

If you ever travel in these parts and need lodging, be sure to stay at Joseph House Inn. We stayed for two nights and can truthfully say it was flawless. Our host Myriam and her mother made us feel right at home and our room (the Purple Room) was spacious and very clean. We particulary liked all the tips on... More

We stayed here in May so am a bit late with this review but better late than never. Joseph House is an amazing place & so warm & comfortable. Myriam & Hilde were fantastic hosts, the rooms extremely comfortable, the breakfasts amazing & the grounds a joy to sit in. If you want peace & tranquillity you will get it... More

Very pretty house, cute rooms, decorated nicely. Great homemade breakfast in a beautiful park. We arrived late but the owner was friendly and still waiting for us. Will definitely go back if I'm in the area. The location was great, between Death Valley and Yosemite.

It's like staying with family that like you. The owners are hands on and make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. They have lived in the area for many years and know what's going on. Also, the breakfast is well worth staying to enjoy.

This is what a B&B should be. Spotlessly clean friendly hostess, Myriam, that tells the history of her inn and is without a doubt a gourmet cook. The breakfast was fantastic. If you want a quiet room in a beautiful setting this is the place to stay in Bishop.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Bishop that's a step above the tourist hotels on 395, try the Joseph House Inn. 3 blocks off the main drag, you're in a different world-comfortable room, beautiful gardens, friendly service-couldn't be better. Pricier than a motel, but worth it.

Let me get one thing straight, Bishop is situated in one of the most breathtaking areas of natural beauty in the United Stated. It's a small Cowboy town in the eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range with easy access to thousands of square miles of pure and unadulterated wilderness. It's heaven. ...and what do you want after a long day hiking... More

From the moment we walked through the door our stay was nothing but wonderful. The home the charming, comfortable, and clean. Our hostesses, Myriam and Hilde, we're very welcoming and quite delightful. Breakfast was always delicious and generous. A wealth of information, Myriam was extremely helpful with navigating the area.
