What a wonderful find! Myriam is a wonderful host and makes you feel very well looked after. We were greeted with a glass of wine to unwind in their beautiful garden. The room was well sized with good facilities. There was wifi but it was slightly patchy. Breakfast was served on the patio in the garden and was always a... More

We were very impressed with the Joseph House Inn, not expecting such luxury in Bishop. The location is walking distance to restaurants and main street, yet the setting is beautiful, serene and tranquil as the vast 3 acre grounds are well maintained. Our room was lovely and so very comfortable, and the hosts, Myriam and Hilde were delightful while providing... More

Drive down the busy H395, with all the trucks. Turn into West Yaney Street and you will wonder what you are letting yourself into. Turn in to The Joseph House Inn, and the magic begins. From the well kept gardens, to the house itself. Be met at the door by Hilde and Miriam. Enter the hall and see the sitting... More

After spending several nights in traditional hotels, we were very pleased to be welcomed to the beautiful Joseph House Inn in Bishop, CA. Hilde and her daughter, Myriam treated us to a delightful stay in their clean, quiet and charming home. They served us a wonderful breakfast the next morning, and bade us fair well like old friends.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for one night after a day driving through Yosemite and on our way to Arizona. - Bishop seemed to be a good place to stop. We had already booked in at the Joseph House Inn but didn't really know what to expect. Have to say - it was a total delight!... More

The start of our journey in CA began with a night at the Joseph House Inn and we couldn't have been more delighted with the hospitality of our hosts. We arrived late after a long day's drive, and although Miriam had to rise at 4am to begin the next day's preparations, she welcomed us warmly and offered up a glass... More

My husband and I decided to see what Mule Days was all about in Bishop. We are so happy our research brought us to Joseph House. It was the perfect experience and we wouldn't hesitate to return. The property is beautiful with grounds that resemble a park. The owners treat everyone as family and are helpful with anything you need.... More

Yet another visit to this wonderful B & B. Very comfortable, great breakfasts, helpful information. Myriam, Max & Hilde made our stay very special once again. If travelling through the Eastern Sierra suggest you spend a few days exploring the area and stay at Jospeh House Inn.

We stayed in Bishop as part of our 3 week honeymoon in California. On the back of reviews, we chose Joseph House and were not disappointed. An idyllic setting, we were warmly greeted with local wine and snacks. Well received after our long drive through Death Valley. We then spent some time sat in the beautiful gardens, an incredible setting.... More

We spent two nights at the Joseph House Inn and found it very pleasant. We especially enjoyed the large living area with its comfortable chairs, fireplace, and glass doors that look on to the attractive garden. Myriam, the innkeeper, was very helpful with restaurant reservations and suggestions about things to do in the area. The breakfast was excellent. Our bedroom... More
