This little motel is off the main highway, but on a secondary highway. Lots of traffic, but the room was quiet, and we were right behind the office next to the road. Shower was iffy with hot then cold water. TV older model, not flat screen. Pool was closed, even though we were there Memorial Day weekend. We came for... More

On our way to Tahoe, we stopped overnight and stayed here. It is off the main drag by only a block. It was super clean and friendly. They offer continental breakfast, and they also have a BBQ picnic area. Very nice, and super affordable. Walking distance to downtown area.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. I had one free night stay due to problems we had with the room during the last visit. This time I brought my Chihuahua with me. Everything was great until I got my bank statement and saw that the motel charged me $80 when I had already paid for the room... More

I've used this motel a few times before heading into the mountains to backpack. Nothing fancy but clean and functional rooms with a small refrigerator. A pool and continental breakfast were nice. Staff was accommodating and allowed parking of one of our vehicles while we were in the back country for a week. About as in expensive as models get... More

This place was a complete dump. When we arrived on Friday at 4pm a crew was doing construction in the room next door with power tools and hammering. So we decided to go out to the pool to escape the noise only to find it was unheated, freezing and it was 95 degrees out. The construction went on until 7pm.... More

The worst motel experience ever. The pool was unfit for use, the stairs to the second floor are a safety hazard, and the bed was broken (the head was 8-10" lower then the foot). They just lost a large grouping (7 rooms) for future stays. Camping at the local campground would have been a better experience.

First of all, the young couple managing this place are terrific. The continental breakfast was good. Thankfully, since the rooms do not have coffee machines. Everything else is not. Mismatched tiles, ants, dust, windows that don't lock, too much furniture for the room. And one of the beds was concave, a valley in the middle that made for a poor night's... More

Toast or flakes with milk for breakfast. Small area for breakfast. No problem with parking. Motel located in nice town in the valley surrounded by mountains. The one minus of this place is that it is chosen by fishermen, they get up early and make some noise, but if you have deep sleep you can stay there :)

Based on the price I think this place was ok. There were a few things in the room that needed fixing but it was very clean. I was going to use the pool but didn't in the end but it looked nice. Bishop was for us just a stop over on a road trip. For $99 you can't go wrong!... More

No microwave, no coffee maker in the room, shady surroundings, sink did not drain, bath did not drain, carpet had the worst 'feet' smell. I tell ya, you might as well camp and save your money. In addition, worst customer service..ever.
