Located several blocks off the main drag (HWY 395) on the road to Lake Sabrina. Good for us as we planned a weekend hike from South Lake. This motel is a bit run down, but not really too much so. This accomodation is rated too high. It is a very basic accomodation for a quick stayover only. It is really showing its age. Needs a major remodel. If you don't want anything fancy it is fine. This was our 2nd stay at the Mountain View Motel. It was not quite as nice as it was 6 years ago. The motel is a bit run-down. and in need of a complete renovation. Maid service is quite good. We had problems with Wifi but there is a library in town with access to the internet. more
