Well I thought that I was going to get murdered at this MOTEL - It was the first (and I may add also the last) time that I have ever been to a motel in the USA & it terrified me - from the creepy swaying swing at the edge of the forest to the eerie old mans rocking chair... more
We have stayed here many times on the way to Mammoth Lakes. Coming from sea level, Big Pine at 4,000 feet is a nice stopover. Cable TV, air conditioning, picnic area, dog friendly ($10 charge).
