Spent Thanksgiving 2009 at Timber Haven. Cabin was very comfortable and cozy, nicely outfitted, with full cottage kitchen. The hosts, Karen and Mehrdad, are friendly and helpful, and our well-behaved dog was welcome. The sofa-sleeper was comfortable for sleeping for our young adult daughter, however it was not at all comfortable to sit on and we would recommend replacing it.... more

Felt like home, friendly and helpful owners/staff. Easy parking and a direct start for hiking inthe Nat. Forest. Room rates were very economical and cabin #2 was quiet, warm, super clean and everything spiffy and working. Fine, firm beds. This resort was just what we were looking for at a great price. Use of a relaxing hot tub, woodburning fireplace, and continental breakfast. The cabin was perfect for our whole family of four. We liked that the resort is slightly off the beaten path. The hosts were also very helpful and friendly. more

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Timberhaven lodge for a second time. It is a great place tucked away in Big Bear. Cozy cabins with everything you could ask for. The owners are onsite and are extremely friendly and helpful!!! I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good value in Big Bear. more
