I stayed at the Singing Pines Lodge for a Men's Retreat with my church. It was so peaceful. It gave me a great chance to get away from the every day stresses of life for awhile. The mountain air was so refreshing. The accommodations were great, the cabins were clean and well-maintained. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting... more

Despite the pretty photos on the website, this lodge is decrepit. The furniture is a mish-mash of lumpy broken-down smelly sofas and bunk beds that even the military would reject. Many do not even have mattresses, only very thin foam padding on top the bunks, plus many of the bunks don't have a ladder for climbing up to the top!... more

Very disappointing, compared to the description on their website. The Lodge has very small bedrooms with uncomfortable bunkbeds and no closets. What we thought were closets turned out to be tiny showers upstairs. The couches and mattresses are old and soiled, and one couch smelled so bad we couldn't use it. Singing Pines Lodge, an historic building, was a real disappointment for our group and takes "rustic" to a new level. We found it to be quite different than it is portrayed on the website. Most of the bunk beds were very uncomfortable, with no mattress padding to speak of, and several in our group had problems sleeping or with stiff... more
