First I want to say I work at a Time Share, I was a Travel Agent for 15 years, I'm very well traveled even with over a 100 cruises in the last 40 years...This morning is the first time in as long as I can remember that my back does not hurt...and I am definatly going to find out what... More

This is a great hotel in for the area. My first experience was great, the staff was cordial and always willing to answer any questions. Penny at the front desk was exceptional helpful and we loved chatting with her and hearing her English accent. When we initially called to book the room, Sherry was also wonderful in telling us about... More

We were due to stay for two nights at this hotel but as the hotel pool was closed and there was very little else to do around the hotel, we only stayed for one night. Also the hotel restaurant was closed, so we had to drive into the village to get something to eat. The rooms were adequate, not great,... More

This is the third time I came back to this elegant hotel in Big Bear Lake. Check in and out is swift. Staff is professional. Lobby is nicely decorated especially during holidays. There is a grand piano for your artistic expression. They saw that I have 3 kids so they brought in extra Duvet Covers, blankets and pillows. The layout... More

This was a pleasant find through an internet search. A really nice hotel with lots of little extras. Our room had a fireplace, balcony, coffee maker. It was very clean and nicely furnished. The hotel is located between Snow Summitt and Bear mountain. Less than 10 minutes from each. The complimentary breakfast was also a surprise. It included a buffet... More

It was my girlfriend's birthday and she wanted to go skiing. I booked a room at this hotel through the best Western reservation system where I am a member. When I checked in I was tired from the 160 mile drive. My girlfriend went skiing and I wanted to take a nap. I got to the room and there was... More

We stayed for one week and although the hotel at no point appeared busy, the additional customers over the weekend brought with them a lot of late night noise. Quite pricy for the week IMHO as it was not peak season (£800+), so might look at cheaper alternatives if staying 7 nights again or go for shorter duration as there... More

If you plan to ski at Snow Summit or Bear Mtn. in Big Bear, and stay in town either overnight or for a few days, you need to consider this hotel. Not only is it finely appointed with a gym, pool, and hot spa, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and have nearly everything the guest could want. A large lounge... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in January 2012. We normally stay at 4 star hotels, but we were not disappointed with this 2 1/2 star hotel. We were first given a room that basically had a view of a wall. I asked the front desk if we could have a different room. The lady at the front... More

Stayed here from Dec 26-Jan 2nd. Very nice place. 1 mile from Snow Summit. Staff was very helpful. Restaurant was good. Parking was good. Well appointed lobby and restaurant area. Nice continental breakfast. We had a wonderful time. Recommend for families, couples or single travellers. Great location and very nice hotel! If handi-capped make sure to reserve handicap room.
