The hotel was above average in every way but the bed quality. The bed was so hard that we only slept 2 hours the entire night. The complimentary breakfast had many breakfast type choices. The atmosphere was very nice and the location was good as well.

The hotel staff was very friendly and was some what accommodating with what they had to work with. The lobby could use a make-over, as well as the gym room, with old & broken equipment. The pool area was very nice with flowers surrounding it, and the recreation room was stocked with play toys [ pool table, ping pong table,... More

Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was very complete. The location of the hotel is very close to the main boulevard and close to a nice area for walking as well as close to Big Bear Lake Village which has stores and restaurants.

We were in for a wedding about 10 miles away and found this a great place to rest our heads. Very nice breakfast, charming room with a gas fireplace. It was all we needed and I would stay again. In fact we are looking at booking there when we return next year.

Excellent hotel, felt like being in Europe, not Big Bear. Old, but very classy place with very interesting décor. I wish I knew the history of the place (the bartender only knew it was a Holiday Inn before and an independent place originally).

I booked this room because it was suppose to have a deluxe/large jacuzzi AND a balcony and I wanted this one night in Big Bear with my sweetheart to be fun and romantic. The tub looked awful and I wouldn't get into it and there was no balcony because their only Jr. Suite doesn't have a balcony. No one told... More

A great place. Very European. Think French Chateau. Good value and polar opposite of renting a cabin in Big Bear. Very good location for biking and skiing. Not far from the Village area. Restaurants within walking distance. Décor in the hotel is unique and classic European antique style. A Very clean and well kept property.
