Our family stayed at Blue Horizon Lodge over the Labor Day weekend 2013. Prior to our arrival, we had a third-party online booking issue, which had nothing to do with Blue Horizon. However, we called Blue Horizon and spoke to Sharon, who was very friendly, resolved our issue, and called us back to inform us of the resolution. At that... More

Hi - how are you guys ? I am so happy you stayed with us, and that you both had a great time with your sons. My husband just laughed because I renamed your furbaby ' Pink Baby' - so I had to explain every time I saw her she was dressed in Pink just like the little girl she... More

Knowledgable owner, ask and you will get to know what you need to know about big bear. Also, it has pet friendly cabins which is very rare in town. Make sure to call and talk to her with your questions. We did and recieved additional info and benefits. We enjoyed the dog friendly beach n bar a lot:)

We stayed at Blue Horizon for 2 days. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, cozy and quiet. Every possible item we needed was there. The manager was extremely helpful and was always available but did not intrude in any way. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return next time we are in the U.S.A.

I stay there once a year. Each time it gets better. Close to the lake and town wonderful management. I recommend this place to people with families. They also accept pets. The cabins are very spacious and you could do a family reunion.

We brought our three small dogs here and had a blast for two days. This place was small but just what we needed. The area outside is nice for taking the dogs out to do their business. The Manager was extremely helpful, professional and kind. The room was well-kept and comfy. I would recommend this place to people with dogs... More

I decided to do a last minute trip this weekend and stayed at the Blue Horizon Lodge (cottage #3). The cottage was very tidy and close to the Village and other surrounding activities. Sharon was very helpful, suggested activities to do while in Big Bear, and was accomodating during my short stay. I would recommend staying at these quaint cabins... More
