We love going camping at this campground. Staff is friendly, and sites are always clean and the restrooms are also. The sites are a good size. Campground is close to Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City. Has a nice bike/walking trail. Big Bear Discovery Center is very close by.

Our family just spent 2 nights and 3 days here. Most sites are a few minute walk to the lake. Campground is clean and well maintained. Free hot showers! Nestled in the city with several close options for day hikes. Very fun trip for a family with young kids.

very nice campground in the Big Bear Lake area. National forest service. There are hookups and non hookup sites. More expensive than most camps. Well maintained. A nice bike trail, about 7 miles out and back paved along the lake. we were there when it was not crowded, so plenty of room. We were told it is full on weekends.... More

Camp Experience: You get a big size lot for your group (8 people max), but you're actually still pretty near other people I'd estimate around 20 feet where you can see and know what they are doing. However, it just depends how you and they set up their site. There's not a lot of greenery in the campsite and you... More

We love this place. We camp here twice a season. We start our season here and end it here. The bathrooms are always clean and stocked. The showers are wonderfully warm. The camp grounds are maintained so well. I think they just replaced all of the benches at each site too. We always have a fun time here. The town... More

This campground was pretty cool. It has huge bugs at night in the summer! BEWARE! It was fun to watch them dive into the fire though! The slot we got wasn't very shaded so its better to scope it out before hand online as much as you can. The lake is super close!! Fun times were had by all!

Serrano Campground is a beautiful place for campers to come to enjoy beautiful Big Bear Lake. It is a scenic and fairly modern campground that provides access to a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. They have about 30 sites with full hookups for around $38 a night and about 60-70 non-electric sites for $30. It is hard to pick a... More

Stayed with 5 other families and the site was able to reserve us spots all together. Plenty of shade and bathrooms decent. Fairly quiet spot, other campers were very courteous. Plenty to do between hiking, swimming and biking. Town very close. Would go back again.

Been coming here for many years. Generally most people are pretty respectful of one another and it makes for a fun and friendly experience. Bathrooms are kept clean, but they could use maintenance. Sites can be quite spacious. Best part is the location on the peaceful north side of the lake and the pedal path trail. We rented kayaks to get... More
