Serrano Campground is a beautiful place for campers to come to enjoy beautiful Big Bear Lake. It is a scenic and fairly modern campground that provides access to a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. They have about 30 sites with full hookups for around $38 a night and about 60-70 non-electric sites for $30. It is hard to pick a... More

Stayed with 5 other families and the site was able to reserve us spots all together. Plenty of shade and bathrooms decent. Fairly quiet spot, other campers were very courteous. Plenty to do between hiking, swimming and biking. Town very close. Would go back again.

Been coming here for many years. Generally most people are pretty respectful of one another and it makes for a fun and friendly experience. Bathrooms are kept clean, but they could use maintenance. Sites can be quite spacious. Best part is the location on the peaceful north side of the lake and the pedal path trail. We rented kayaks to get... More

We RVing at Serrano campground without hookups site #100 over Memorial weekends. It was fully booked. Site #100 has lots of shade and very close to the shower. To my surprise every campers were very courteous and quiet. The staffs were super friendly, they patrol the area frequently. The showers are very clean, free hot water only. If you don't... More

I was lured by warm showers. We just stayed here for the Memorial weekend - after staying a several other campsites in the Big Bear area. This was much like a lot of other campsites - clean, great camp hosts... and plenty of RVs. We're tent people - so just be prepared for the 4:1 ratio of RVs to tent... More

Great campground. The lots were spaced apart and allowed for privacy, lots of fresh water wells located close to most lots. The bathrooms were always clean and well stocked. The campground was kept up very well no trash anywhere. Close and easy access to water. General store across street was great to get ice. However, buildup of moss and algae... More

We have camped here 4 times, we have a motorhome and tow a vehicle. We love this campground and that is why we keep coming back. This year we decided not to pull our tow vehicle up the hill but drive it instead for easier pull. When we got to campground they told us it would be $5.00 extra for... More

Love Big Bear Spring - Fall. Good weather (but there may be t-storms Aug and Sept; last about an hour-2). Lake is great for boating (we rent a motorboat from Captain John's). Nice easy bike path from Solar Obs, alongside Serrano, then alingside lake. We've been to Serrano 8 times. Usually nice. But....it isn't always quiet, especially on weekends. Weekday... More

Not having camped in Big Bear before, I went to Tripadvisor to read reviews of the campgrounds available there.. After looking at all the positive reviews for the Serrano Campgrounds, we thought we'd give it a try. We were in the Snowberry Loop #63 (only staying in a tent, but RV sites were all they had available-waited til the last... More

We just completed a four night stay at Serrano. This is our third time camping at Serrano, but first time in the Snowberry Loop with full hook ups. We were in site number 59. The site was big but did not have alot of shade. Next time we will bring our EZ- up for extra shade. Pros: You can take... More
