I spent some time with the rep. from Boulder Creek Resort to make sure that we reserved one of the nicer 2 bedroom, kitchen condos. Our stay was supposed to be for 2 nights, but we simply could not stand the filth and smell more than one night and high-tailed it out one night early. I could go on and on, but suffice to say that the furniture was literally falling apart, entire place reaked of pesticide, walls were filthy, cigarette stains on the nightstand and marble sink in the bathroom. The list goes on and on. The accomodations sound nice when you read about them or someone describes them to you, but take my word...stay completely clear of this place. It wouldn't be acceptable even if everything else in Big Bear was booked. more
