The Thompson has a great location and a good swimming pool on the roof. Make sure there is no party planned the days you are there or you will be asked to leave the pool area. The drinks are a rip-off and the rooms are nothing special. If I am not mistaken it was an old Ramada or Holiday Inn... More

Dear mondialcorp, Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that we did not provide you with the level of service that you deserve and that you did not find our rooms comfortable. I can assure you that we do not use inexpensive furnishings as we pride ourselves on being a design and service driven property. We rarely close our pool... More

We stayed here in the Thompson Suite for our wedding weekend, and everything was absolute perfection. They even surprised us with rose petals all over the suite upon arrival, and complimentary champagne. From booking our room, to the valet, to the bartenders, to room service, every experience was met with one on one personal treatment. I highly recommend this hotel... More

I recently stayed at the Thompson Beverly Hills Hotel and found it to be a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. I was able to get recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The hotel is walking distance to Beverly Hills shopping and restaurants and just a short drive to... More

We have just returned from a 6 day stay in which my son got married and we used this hotel for some of the out of town guests. All total there were 10 rooms for friends and family. Everyone was impressed with the friendliness of the staff. From the valet parking staff, the front desk staff, maid service, pool staff... More

The front desk staff was horrible. The bartender on the rooftop was not friendly. The lady at the pool did not even offer us any drinks. Hotel room was very nice, love the bedroom mirrors. The bell man was not helpful at all. The rooms walls were very thin, we can hear the TV from the next room and also... More

I have never experienced such blatanty rude, poor service at a hotel in LA. This review reflects the service at the rooftop pool, specifically the female bartender working during the day on 6.29.12. She was overtly dismissive and rude, to the point I thought I was being punked. Sorry to bother you while you're working, lady. She was an embarrassment... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights and at first where not sure about best place to stay in LA. All the other hotels in Beverely Hills were very expensive so that is why we picked this one. It is a small boutique style hotel but has great, comfortable rooms. We had a king size bed with a roomy... More

I planned a weekend get-away for me and my man, but I always seemed to forget something. This time I forgot to make dinner reservations and reserve a cabana to relax at by the pool. The front desk was there to help me get into the restaurant that I wanted when I requested- which was a miracle since it was... More

I never bothered writing a review, but this place was worth my time to do it. This hotel is like a hip version of a 5 star hotel without the 5 star price tag and attitude. The best location in BH, laid-back, great rooms and the staff made you not want to leave. I stayed for a week, and Nate... More

I wrote a review about booking a reservation at the hotel-now let me tell you about my stay at the hotel. I was extremely impressed with how well we were treated on our arrival from check- in to the young man who carried our bags up to our room. The concierge was also fabulous! I would definitely stay here again!... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
