Yes, it's expensive -- but if you're looking for a five-star luxury experience in Los Angeles, this is the winner by a long shot (see end of review for first impression comparisons to others). Service: You'll want for nothing and it's not in an annoying way. The staff at Peninsula Bev Hills values their guests and it shows from the... more

We stayed at the Peninsula Beverly Hills for our wedding a few weeks ago, so our expectations were high. And as always, the Peninsula delivered. I have stayed at other Peninsula hotels and we checked out a few top hotels in LA for the important event (e.g. Bel Air Hotel). In short, I can say that my (new) wife and... more

I stayed at The Peninsula Beverly Hills every month for business until last year. Since my company booked me this hotel, I had to stay there for a long time. Breakfast is good and room is ok, service is pretty bad compared to the other 4-5 star hotels in the area. I still don't understand why this hotel is still... more

This is a great property. Service is exceptional. Rooms are in a very traditional style (not my preference, but very tasteful) but the roof top bar and restaurant have a very luxe Asian resort feel. more

My husband surprised me with a weekend stay here for my birthday this month. He knows I'm a sucker for great hotels and had heard me mention that the Peninsula is ranked as one of the very top hotels in the country... a really sweet surprise! We stayed in a king villa room which was cozy and had a pretty... more

When we arrived at the hotel, we were checked in and taken to our King Villa room, right behind their living room. The gentleman did no more than welcomed us, then left immediately, showing us nothing about the room. Fortunately, we had been in the same room category before, only several years earler, when the service was much better. We... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night on Jan 24, 2009. In comparison to the Beverly Wilshire (FS Property), I found the hotel environment more my style. The landscaping is much more lush than the other property and enhances the feeling of relaxation and escape though you're in Beverly Hills. From the moment that I arrived on the property,... more

was only here for one night for a meeting but was treated like I was a resident! My wife and 2 yr old were able to drive up and stay with me and the hotel was actually very kid friendly. the "pack n play" provided was a full blown victorian crib with all the trimmings. Staff was excellent and the... more

The Peninsula Beverly Hills is a beautiful hotel. I was both very impressed and disappointed. A villa was not available on our first night, so we stayed in a king suite. The room was immaculate and huge. But the furnishings were not what we expected for a room in a hotel of this caliber. Very disappointing. My hubby (who travels... more

We had a week at the Peninsula and we were treated like royalty! Front desk always used our names so we really felt special. The concierge were so helpful and managed to locate a Wii Fit that we were trying to shop for which was fantastic. The breakfasts were amazing - the homemade granola my all time favourite. The staff... more
