I will put my caveat out there - I booked this hotel through hotwire.com, and therefore I got a "standard" room at the Avalon for the discounted rate I received. I was really happy with the room rate, but it's the old adage of you get what you pay for. I wouldn't rate our standard room as a "4 star"... more
