My wife and I stayed at the Crescent in March, 2011. The service was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff; made us feel right at home. There is a nice bar and outside lounge area. Great place to relax and have some cocktails! The room was big and had a nice modern flair. Very clean and comfortable. The location is... More

After a long week working a convention in LA, I decided to take advantage of the weekend among the stars in Beverly Hills. I packed my bags, left the convention hotel (with pleasure), and checked into the Crescent. A good friend from L.A. had recommended it, and I am glad she did. First, most hotels depress me. But not the... More

This hotel was in a great location, however the rooms were very small and the bathroom was very dark and dingy. The staff on the front desk were air heads and had no idea of local attractions. We will not be staying here and would not recommend this hotel.

Thanks for the review. We appreciate the feedback. I apologize for our front desk staff not being up to your and our standards. Some of our new front desk staff is in the process of being trained and feedback like this is necessary. Thank you again. More

My husband and I stayed here using a Living Social deal. The photos on the website looked nice, but unfortunately, our tiny room was nothing like those photos. The deal was for a queen room with an upgrade upon check-in. No upgrade was available, and this was probably the smallest room I have ever seen. The bed, which was only... More

Thanks for the review. We are sorry to hear that our room size was not up to your standards. We do have larger rooms available but unfortunately we were not able to upgrade you to one for the night you stayed with us. We hope to see you back again so we can accommodate you more appropriately. More

I needed a place to stay in Beverly Hills since I had an early business meeting there on a Monday morning so I selected this hotel based on a recommendation from the friend of a friend. Ugghhh.. When we checked in, the front desk person told us--three times--how hungover he was. Not to mention that a video was being shot... More

We liked a lot the simple decor and the great location of this hotel. Our room was not very big but had all we needed. Very friendly and helpful staff (printing plane schedules ecc) and always ready to give some good advise about L.A. Great and very safe location close (by feet) to nice restaurants. By car you reach Sunset... More

We stayed here earlier in the month, our second stay. Perfectly located in Beverly Hills, but even better, we didn't realize how easy it was to get to various other places (Silverlake, Los Angeles, etc.) from here, via taxi even! The funny thing is, although we had evening plans, a part of us just wanted to stay at the hotel... More

Our stay was very uncomfortable but mostly due to a bad mattress so in all fairness it may have been just the luck of the draw. We have been married for 40 years. Our stay was with the compliments of our son and daughter in law. They told us it was a boutique hotel just a couple of blocks from... More

Thank you for the review. We appreciate the feedback. I'm sorry to hear that the mattress was not up to your standards. We have since replaced the actually bed-frame in order to remedy this problem. Also, Gregory Peck is in fact still the owner. He is has no relation to the actor Gregory Peck. More

the Crescent Hotel was absolutely wonderful. Felt very at home in this stylish and simple atmosphere. Loved the patio onerlooking the street to people watch and have a desert or cocktail. The rooms have everything you need and the staff is excellent!

This hotel is ADORABLE. Me and my girlfriends wanted a night out in the city, but also wanted it to be a low key night. We had dinner and cocktails on the padio lit up with hanging lanterns and a fireplace! The valet arranged for a car service to pick us up and take us into West Hollywood. In the... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
