Fantastic location, walking distance to a Whole Foods, Starbucks and countless wonderful restaurants and coffee shops. As a woman traveling on her own, it is nice to be in a neighborhood in LA that is safe and you feel comfortable walking on the streets early morning or night. The Crescent provides all the necessary creature comforts, very pleasant staff, relaxed... more

My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Crescent. In all fairness, I will give the staff credit for being friendly and efficient. Also, the location is great if you have car. Their valet parking is very convenient and it is a fairly short drive to major points of interest (by LA standards, at least -- 15 minutes... more

First time to Beverly Hills and if I come back would definitely stay somewhere else. The hotel tries to be modern with its "bare" furnishings, but lacks in amenities. Rooms are poorly air conditioned and dimly lit. Bathroom lighting is atrocious. It is in a very good location though, but I would rather walk further or even drive to be... more

Read all the other reviews which balance the pros and cons. However, what you mostly pay for is location...around the corner from Rodeo Drive et al...and you complain about snug rooms HELLLLO! Some excellent restaurants just around the corner, valet parking for my hired Mustang GT40 (I loved typing that!) was across the road and not a rip off. My... more

Typically, I am not one to write reviews. However, after our stay at The Crescent Hotel in Beverly Hills we were so overwhelmed with the experience I had to pass along why this may be the best hotel in Beverly Hills. First, Location. The hotel is located just a block away from all the fabulous shopping and eating establishments in... more

On the face of it this is a really nice boutique hotel but there were some problems with our stay which we would warn potential visitors about: Check in was good - our room was ready even though we arrived early and service was good. Rooms are small but that is only in comparison to US hotels, many European hotels... more

An extremely enjoyable short stay, and one that I will hopefully be repeating. The rooms aren't massive, but hey, this is a boutique hotel after all - the room was certainly big enough for me. Loved the urban industrial chic shower (i.e. no tiles!), and the fully loaded fridge. Speaking of fully loaded, the ipod & speakers are great, a welcome... more

well i had read other reviews of the crescent and was apprehensive about our stay. the location of the otel was fab just round the corner from the shops but the walls in this hotel really are diabolically thin. you can hear your neighbours at normal conversational level. we were unfortunate to spen the two days next to a man... more

Stayed here for 1 night for business and thankful I only had to be here from 10pm (when I checked in), until 7am the following morning (checked out). I was given a room directly over the lounge area. After 2 minutes of hearing noise and chatter I knew it would be a rough night's sleep, so went back down to... more

The rooms are incredibly small! The walls are thin, and the chances are you'll hear your neighbours TV and conversations. Its worth requesting a room sandwiched between vacant rooms so that you have some peace & privacy. This room is ONLY suitable for 1 person, a couple should not stay here because the bed is not that big, but more... more
