Rooms are small but confy. No problems with anything else than there is no bellboy to carry luggage. That made it hard for me to carry my three suitcases to second floor. AC worked well and there is enough SD channels in the TV. As the TV is HD ready, where are the HD channels?

Yes, its a converted motel. Definitely trying to be chic. First impresion was not the best. Although the check-in assistance was stellar. Thank you Grissel. They gave me a drink coupon for a proseco in the restaurant which is not owned by them, although that could change. I asked whether that could be traded for red wine. The aswer was... More

The Beverly Terrace was probably an old motel, it is two stories (no elevators) surrounding a beautiful, small interior courtyard. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms, as mentioned by most reviewers, are tiny, mine was just for me. I would advise to avoid rooms 10 and 11 as these are connected to the lobby and have noise issues. The... More

Our small chic rooms give way to a magnificent courtyard and complimentary continental breakfast, you hit the spot on these areas with your review. All of this is thanks to our wonderful stuff, who always seeks to go above and beyond. William Strickland Hotel Manager More

Nice place in West Beverly. Half hour walk from either Sunset Strip or Rodeo Drive. Friendly staff, nice dining area, clean rooms. No bar fridge in my room though. Continental breakfast was decent enough.

Our saying is "where Beverly Hills meets West Hollywood", and I think that sums it up. We are centrally located between both iconic cities, which makes getting around practically seamless. William Strickland Hotel Manager More

I stayed here for 5 nights, sharing a twin room. The room was cosy, but all the necessities were there - a safe, hanging space, decent size TV, free wifi, and a small but quite adequate bathroom, with plenty of hot water. Although very close to Santa Monica Boulevard, there wasn't much noise, especially with the windows closed. The only... More

What a marvelous review, I am so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. I love what you said: "The staff were all very friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely interested in us". My name is Ben Moneke, I stayed at the Beverly Terrace Hotel from December 2 to January 5. What initially was to be a 2-3 day stay ended up being for over a month. There is no aspect of the Hotel that I could criticize. I have stayed in Hotels and lots of them worldwide due to the nature of... More

Wow! All I can say is "WOW" what a spectacular review! These days everything seems robotic and ungenuine when it comes to service, unlike the rest we pride ourselves in delivering a personalized experience. Toyia and Grissel are some of the best in the biz, we cannot wait for more people like you to experience our service. Thank you for... More

Very quaint and clean! Great value for the price. My boyfriend and I were traveling on NYE so considering the price this hotel was perfect. Room was on the smaller side however it had everything we needed for one night. Really liked the room we were given with the lights that could dim. Parking was hectic but that's why they... More

This was a great spot...cute rooms (a little petite), nice decor, lovely courtyard and spaces to relax (too bad it was too cold to really enjoy the shared spaces). Restaurant was very good for drinks / dinner. The included wifi, continental b'fast & complimentary glass of sparkling wine 1st nite were nice adds. Easy to park and well located...walkable to... Michelle, Wow, what a fantastic review! You summed it up perfectly: Location, Decor, Restaurant, Wi-Fi, Breakfast, Prosecco and much more. I know the weather was a bit unusual for your visit, but not to fear sun shine and warm weather are usually here year-round. Let me know when your next visit is, and I'll make sure the weather is perfect.... More

I had to have some surgery by a specialist in the area, and the staff at this hotel was so pleasant to work with. They were very helpful getting extra towels, etc. and making sure that I was comfortable. As I couldn't travel around much to see the area, the terrace made a perfect place to rest between therapy and... More

I have stayed at this hotel every time I'm in LA, as well as, living short term for periods of time, for the last 18 years. It's my favorite smaller luxury hotel, for the price, in the west Hollywood/ Beverly Hills area.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
