Marina area is a nice alternative to downtown Berkeley. Easy drive to campus although when there's traffic be prepared to take 45 minutes. Rooms are simple, no frills comfort. Breakfast buffet is ok in a pinch but with so many little cafes and diners on 4th street and near campus there's no need to spend $16. Only complaint is $10/day... More
