I just spent a week at the Nash much to my dismay (couldn't find another place to stay after the first night). Aside from my price quote over the phone being rejected by the management, the room was filthy (mold in refrigerator, spider webs in all corners, dirt on sheets, etc.) and the attendant yelled at me for my toilet... I have just spent 3 nights there and I really like the place. It is so convenient to everything and the price just as good as you can get. Well, for sure this is the place you want to try out and I am sure you will like it.

Stay away from this hotel. My boyfriend and I don't lare used to living on a budget and avoid spending unnecessarily on hotels but this place is not worth saving money. And when you factor in the private bathroom it is not that great of a deal. I listed some of the cons below. Cons: -Stained pillow cases -Sheets smelled... More

Based on the good reviews on this site, we took a gamble to stay at this hotel for one night. We were not expecting much, but got even less. The elevator smelled and not worked well. The room was exactly as other described. We refused to walk on the carpet barefoot and didn't dare sit on the bedspread. And,we didn't... More

After waiting a 25 minutes, I was checked in to my reservated 'single shared bathroom' room last night. Returning from the dirty shared bathroom, I found a death mice on the bed, covered by the sheetes. Asking the manager for a switch of the room or a refund, she said, "With that price, how do you expected it to be?"___Yes,... More

I stayed at the Nash Hotel recently and let me tell you ....whew!!!!!! Where do I start? The hotel is infested with cockroaches And I took some pictures of the nasty mattress(s) in two of the rooms. I'm thinking of posting them online. Well, it's off to the Better Business Bureau now!!!!!!! I was also overcharged as a final insult... More

Just a few comments on the Nash hotel: We arrived late and had to call for the staff and had to wait outside for 20 minutes. Our room was small, dirty and we found a window in the room, which had to stay there. We found some old clothes in the room and even an old porn magazine (my girlfriend... More

Do not waste your time or money on this --------! Besides the creepy guests, the hair in the bed, the thin walls that allow every inkling of a conversation through it, the lack of soap in the bathroom, the feeling of "oh my god there MUST be at least 10 roaches in my room and one or two mice" that... The price is certainly cheap enough at $49/night, but I felt dirty the entire time. I found a dirty sock in the bed that I assumed was clean when I checked in. The best investment I made during the trip was pillow cases and my own towel. The hotel could be very charming, but in offering low prices they clearly... More

On a trip to Berkeley we spent a horrible night at the Nash. It is noisy (right on the street) with bright lights shining in. The interior is ancient and decrepid, faucet and toilet dripped, the shower had exposed plumbing. This place was the pride of town in the 50's! They don't take credit cards and tried to overcharge us.... More
