We arrived in Benton Hot Springs 3:30 p.m., after 256 miles, in 4 hrs. 45 minutes. We were staying at The Inn at Benton Hot Springs, 55137 Hwy 120, Benton, CA, tel. 866-466-2824, (760)933-2287, www.historicbentonhotsprings.com. Diane and Bill Bramlette keep the area like a green oasis in the desert (even during a drought). Audre loved seeing the quail running around.... More

What an awesome place! Each site has it's own tub! They are dog friendly and the nicest people! They drain and clean the tubs after each check out. Lots of great hiking and exploring in the surrounding area. Love this place can't wait to go back!

A couple of years ago I was on a motorcycle trip in eastern California when we passed through Benton Hot Spring near Benton Junction. It doesn't look like much from the road and there isn't much at all around the property but I always wanted to get back there to soak in the hot springs. Last month my girlfriend and... More

Charming rooms set up in themes (ours was Bermuda) with great touches like a draped mosquito net over our bed, handsome art and fun chotchkas all around; plus tile floors heated by hot water are a dream to walk on barefoot. Hot pools are civilized--tile or concrete--and there are three of different temps, so you can choose your tolerance level.... More

OK, we really enjoyed the hot tub. That was amazing. We rented the bungalow, which was not well cleaned. It was overpriced at $169 p/night. Very funky, which we're okay with, but the not clean part was not okay. The tile hot tub had an amazing view but could really have used a screen from the neighbors across the way... More

I will definitely go back here again, it was wonderful. The Inn is an oasis of greenery, and the campground is well laid out to give privacy to each site. Both are small, book in advance if you can! The only thing that wasn't perfect for me is the porta potties, I'm not a fan especially when they haven't been... More

I love this place. The staff keeps the campsites clean and is always friendly. Great for an overnight trip or a couple of nights anytime of the year. Get one of the time tubs if you have a larger group or would like some extra space while soaking.

Our stay at this Bed and Breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. We stayed one night on our way to a Mustang trip with Rock Creek Pack Station (in another review) and another blissful night after the trip. My daughter and I were in one of the most peaceful and serene places on earth sitting under the... More

Benton is a very a small western town north of Bishop, CA. The people there take care pride and care in making sure everything is clean and homey. There is a campground, which looks very well kept. There a lot of spots, and each with it's on hot springs tub. Very private. We stayed at the Inn in room #7.... More
