Was visiting the area and loved this inn. Its so nice, the people at the desk were very nice and friendly. There is a river behind the inn that overlooks a beautiful castle. So peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were clean/fresh and the breakfast was nice touch. more

We have been staying at this lovely Santa Cruz Mountain Hotel for years. They recently renovated all of the rooms, and they are very nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the Deluxe Continental Breakfast is great. It was very nice to have complimentary coffee and tea available during office hours. As the other reviewer said, this motel offers very basic accommodations, but the rooms are clean and spacious. They have wired internet access (no wireless) in the rooms. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept in and the sheets were thin, but it was fine for one night. Bathroom was large and offered amenities like soap, shampoo, and conditioner.... more

This is a BASIC accomodation, however, the location is gorgeous. This location is a typical 50's style motel, however, the scent of the surrounding redwoods is heavenly. This was a lovely stay in a most pleasing environment. The motel was clean and well taken care of with the owners living on the property and accessible at all times. They try very hard to make you comfortable and satisfied. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet vacation stay. more
