Very basic accommodations in a strange little town, reminiscent of Twin Peaks. Cabins are surrounded by redwoods, have good bones but not much flair for design. Decent place to stay but keep your expectations in check - this is a couple steps up from camping.

The rooms were very clean. The staff was very courteous to us and made us feel at home. We enjoyed hanging out at the swimming pool, swimming and playing ping pong. Everything was clean and kept up. There are redwood trees growing next to our deck and front porch. These were fun to eat our meals next to. We had... More

This is a small cabin yet good size for a two bedroom cabin, I don't know why it's listed as hotel. If you want a quiet place to camp, but still want the convince of tv, shower, kitchen, microwave refrigerater than this is the place for you. Scott's valley is down the road as well as Santa Cruz, Capitola. If... More

Stayed in #4, no smoking. Has basic cable and WiFi. It was quiet and clean. Jaye's is on the shady side of the road, which makes it a little damp in the Fall, but that is outside, and the heating, while it is a gas wall heater, works. Shower was clean, but is small. Friendly staff. Rate was $83.50 with... More

Looks charming and well-kept from the outside, but the inside is way overdue for maintenance. We stayed during the month of September when the weather was good, but it smelled musty and everything felt damp (carpet, sheets, towels). Kitchen was shabby with years of embedded dirt. Shower didn't drain well, and I ended up standing in several inches of water... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night before heading back home on our trip. One of the owners (Amita) was very nice. We stayed in cabin #9 which was one of the hilltop cabins (I'm glad we weren't put in one of the lower cabins by the office) and I was sorry it didn't have a fireplace, but... More

We made reservations on a travel website for 2 adults and 2 kids for $105 per night, and when we arrived late at night, we were charged almost $100 extra for the 2 kids, and the hotel was NOT worth it. Old, run down, with signs up to clean the place and throw out the trash before leaving.

We were in town for a funeral and stayed here for two nights. The place reeked of 20 years of smoke, the futon had pot buds in the folds, the bathroom had stains on the walls, and the laminated instructions stapled to the wall next to the 40year old heater basically tell you that you need to clean the entire... I cannot believe some of the reviews I have read. My family and I had the best experience. Me my husband and 1 year old son stayed in the king bed cabin for 2 nights. We had the most relaxing experience. First of all the owners were beyond customer centric. The woman who ran the resort made us feel so... More
