We stayed in one of the cabins of the resort. It is a nice place, great atmosphere, nice staff, good restaurant/bar facilities. Great place for outdoor activities. The 'hardware' of the cabins is good, nothing special however. It is frightening to see what is happening to the (disappearing) lake. Hopefully it shall come back soon.

nice people nice place, no complaints, pool is great, not much of a fitness center, the restaurant is good but the hours good be expanded. Bar upstairs is open more often and has decent food. The towels need to replaced, old white rough bath towels that are just large enough to cover your rear. The season for those ended years... More

We checked out early (day 1 of 4 days) and it was a hugely disappointing stay Our worst experience in the U.S. by a long distance The poor experience started with unfriendly reception staff whose first words were not hello or welcome but can I have you card please The staff looked unhappy and demoralised and stood there flagrantly criticising... Loved this place. Huge cabins, generous and well stocked kitchens, balcony overlooking the gorgeous lake, reasonable bathroom, clean and tidy bedroom. So much to see and do at the resort alone. From paddle boarding and jet skiing to boat cruise. Really nice restaurant and willing to accommodate for last minute changes. Wifi is pretty good. Sometimes worked in cabin otherwise... More

It seemed strange to be staying in wooden cabins/lodges in the height of summer as to me they always some like somewhere to stay when skiing in winter for example. Either way, they were a cute place to stay. Clean, comfy however boiling hot on the ground floor! Basement was cooler naturally. The lake was just down the path as... More

My family stayed at the Pines Resort for two nights to experience Yosemite. Clean and well-maintained facilities!! Kitchen has everything in the first floor and very comfortable beds are in the basement. The Resort has its own style fitted very well with the nature of the Bass lake. We relaxed during our 2 week vacation with good food and kind... More

Very 1970s accommodation. Clean with fairly good facilities. The kitchenette in our chalet had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster so cooking a meal would have been challenging! I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again, but if no other accommodation was available near the National Park I'd also not avoid it either. Adequate

Our family planned a vacation in Yosemite, Sequoia and Monterey and The Pines Resort was our first stop after spending the night in San Francisco. The chalet we stayed in was totally disgusting, as another reviewer wrote " I even showered in my shoes" . We never took our shoes off either! The place was old and filthy, it might... More

Pines Resort is perfect for a fun weekend getaway. We stayed in one of their cabins over the fourth of July weekend and greatly enjoyed the beauty of the lake, the fun activities (jet skiing, boating, inner tubing) that were available on the Lake, and the proximity to Yosemite Valley for some amazing hiking. The resort itself is about 50... More
