When we arrived at the hotel to check in, we were advised that our suite had no water, but that this would be fixed quickly. At about 7pm we were then advised that this wouldn't be fixed until midnight, meaning we were unable to shower, use the toilet or have any drinking water for a number of hours. To compensate... The cabin is complete with everything we need, such as kitchen equipment and cookingware. Refrigerator and microwave work great. The view is awesome. The cabin is clean and the bed is very comfortable (for those who like extra firm bed). The only downside is the water in the lake is very low so the sight is not as beautiful as... More

Booked a two night chalet cabin at a very cheap price. The cabin was very spacious and overlooked Bass Lake. Great scenery from the balcony of the cabin. Everything in the cabin was clean and is equipped with stove, refrigerator, and tableware. The resort is very peaceful and quiet which is perfect for people getting out of the city. The... More

We booked a suite for two nights and was really great experience. The room was nice with little patio over looking the pool and then Bass lake. Fireplace, sitting area and little counter top with coffee machine, microwave and refrigerator. I really liked the idea of having two wash basins - one in the bathroom and one outside. The restaurant... More

We stayed in a two bedroom duplex type cabin with our daughter and her family for two nights including New Year's Eve. The Pines has a fireworks display at midnight over the lake to ring in the new year. Very beautiful! I won't leave out that it was very cold up in the mountains, but for the 20 minutes that... More

We were there end of November. The lake was very nice and quiet, not too many people there. The wooden cabin was absolutely cosy, we loved the fire place. Heating worked, too. The restaurant was also nice. The resort is a good starting point to visit Yosemite NP, which is just 17 miles away. Although late in the year, the... More

We stayed one night at The Pines before heading out to Yosemite. The staff was very warm and friendly. We had dinner at Ducey's on the Lake and it was amazing. Food, service and ambiance was excellent. Our stay in the chalet was very relaxing and we got to wake up to a beautiful view of the lake. It was... More

I stayed at Pines Resort for two nights in October 2014. Right when I entered the chalet, I noticed a humming noise, apparently coming from inside the front wall near the bedside table. It sounded like something electrical, which was not very reassuring regarding safety. It was audible all the time and an annoying frequency. I knew I wouldn't be... More
