My sister in law booked this place for us to meet for a 4 day stay. She told me it was a cabin, and yes it looked sort of like a cabin, but ii was more like a home. Very nice lay out, clean, and has pretty much everything you could want. But hey, we usually are in a tent,... More

The Forks resort was recommended by a trusted friend and I was so happy I took her advice. Not only did it save me $500+ by not staying in Yosemite for the week, but we were perched on a lake during 4th of July overlooking spectacular fireworks with the entire community. It was the quintessential American experience. We spent three... More

We stayed for four nights at the Forks Resort -- you could tell that the cabins were recently remodeled with brand new bathrooms, new flooring in kitchen and bedroom. The cabin was clean, updated and had everything you needed to prepare your own meals. I do agree that the road in front of the cabins was a little noisy, especially... More

Awesome resort, great staff (Heidi is amazing!), awesome fishing. My son and I caught about 10 large bass in less than 45 minutes!! The cabins are really cozy especially the one bedroom model. Perfect for my little family. The burgers are amazing!! Our cabin had an amazing view of the lake as well. We will be back next year for... More

We stayed at the Forks Resort for our trip to Yosemite. We wanted something out of the park and quiet. The Forks is on a nice lake, but it is very busy. Check in was easy, but no one seemed happy we were there... Our cabin was #9, which was right above the restaurant and shop... and the garbage cans.... More

Cabins on a lake: Clean and comfortable. Polite staff. Good restaurant food. $200 a night (suite) in September. 1.5 hrs from either Yose valley or King's Canyon/Sequoia. No Housekeeping. You bring in your towels for clean/dry ones. You take out your own garbage, and you act like a civilized human being in exchange for a fine place to rest. Refrigerator... More

Apparently I was clueless and didn't know how difficult it was to get a campsite within Yosemite. This was the next best thing. We booked our spot through recreation.gov which was a little tricky, but once I figured it out was painless. The site was inexpensive and very clean. We had a fire pit (with BBQ grate), a nice flat... More

This family owned resort provided a very relaxing stay in the mountains. Clean cabin, with everything we needed. The staff was very helpful and pleasant, and even had tips for fishing spots! Bass lake itself is better for boating/skiing than fishing though. Only problem was the very appetizing smell of the restaurant made us want to eat there more often... More

We used to tent camp with the family at the Forks campground, but decided to rent a cabin this time just for the 2 of us. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and well stocked the cabin was. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with living room, kitchen, bathroom, all fully stocked with amenities. Kitchen had refrigerator, stove,... More

Booking: Staff was very nice and accommodating! The start of our Bass Lake 2010 Summer Vacation started with a voicemail left on New Years Eve 12/31/09 for a July 2010 stay. I wanted to book 6 cabins for a week in July. I received a callback in a day or so and my "spot in line" was secured. Payment: $200... More
