The first thing I noticed about my room was that, although large by regular hotel standards, was on the small side for a Residence Inn (RI). The room appeared to be about 75% of the size of a typical RI, complete with a refrigerator that's about 75% of a regular fridge and a dishwasher about 75% of a regular dishwasher.... more

My brief stay at the Residence Inn in Bakersfield CA was a completely worry-free and pleasant experience. The room was clean and large and the price was well worth it. Property needs some work and repairs. Check your room before settling in to make sure everything is working and included (i.e. dishes, etc.). At least one night, they ran out of food before close of hospitality hours. Usually Residence is better than this one. more
