We were stuck in the severe mudslide event this past weekend along with several thousand others. We desperately were trying to find a room for the night, and there was nothing available close to us as everyone was in the same position as us. We were able to find something at this Motel 6 about 45 minutes from where we... More

We stayed 3 days and were very well taken care of. Our great experience began at the check in counter where we were offered the choice of rooms in different areas of the motel and upstairs or down stairs. Being able to park right outside our room was very convenient. The room was clean and fresh and the bed was... More

I stayed one night at the Bakersfield South motel. It was clean and the shower had hot water. However, that's the best I can say about it. It was the typical Motel 6 from 25 or more years ago. No renovations or updates so it was small, cramped, and shabby looking. The sheets and bedspread had holes made from cigarette... More

Don't stay here. The WORST Motel 6 we have ever stayed at. We had room #137 after a long day of driving. Intoxicated lady came in after me and was asking me questions as I was checking in. She had $30 and needed more money. They put me in #137. The person above us walked all night and at 3... More

Location was good with easy access from 99 but since it is a set-back location you must look carefully for the entrance sign. The room was clean and the staff was courteous. One ice machine for a motel this size is insufficient, should be two, even as a backup plan. Yes, the one is broken. The nearby restaurant is from... More

Absolutely the worst hotel in the national chain. DO NOT STAY HERE. Crackville Motel . Staff is rude and doesn't care about your stay. THE WORST. They need to not be a part of the Motel 6 chain. The morning staff are stupid. Cops always around. Staff takes kickbacks from dealers which is obvious. Again... Don't stay here. Promise that... More

I have to admit I'm embarrassed to say my husband & I stayed here. My only excuse is we were so tired and it was very late. I Thought anything will do.....Wrong!! (My car would have been better). The bare room looked as if it had the original paint, carpet, drapes from the day it was built. Bedding blanket &... More

The staff was so helpful and efficient, accepting my AAA card for a discount off the already inexpensive room for the night. As I parked, I saw the sheriffs arresting an escaped con from the room next to mine. No worries. I got into the room and locked it up. The broken down part starts here. The bathroom sink wouldn't...
