Apart from the rude staff in the bar we couldn't fault this place. We found the room cool and clean. Powerful shower, fridge, coffee machine, ironing board and lots of TV stations in room. As mentioned in the title we loved the huge pool and seperate spa, lots of loungers and mountains of towels piled around. Must just mention how... more

Helpful, friendly staff. Attractive, comfortable, spotlessly clean room. Excellent internet access, and the cost was lower than I’d expect for such a nice room. The attached restaurant is an ok, dehydrated potatoes and gravy kind of place. We did not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast, but it would probably suit most people: “Two eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns... more

I would strongly recommend NOT staying here. The place is a dump - rooms smell, TVs don't work very well and the place is generally old, noisy, and dirty. Staff are pretty rude and unwelcoming. The restaurant is terrible too! more

We stayed here for just one night, should have stayed for two as there is lots to see in Bakersfield. The room was very nice and even though it was located just outside of laundry room very quite. Staff was very nice and meals at restrauant were very good. Breakfast which was included in room was a nice extra as... more

I stayed a night at this hotel during a cross-country trip. Everything about it was great and it exceeded my expectations for the price (about $90/night). The room was large, clean, and quiet, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast at the nearby restaurant was hot and tasty. I would definitely stay there again. I should mention... more

For the price we paid ($71.99) We were not expecting much. You know, you get what you paid for. This was not the case at all. The service was great and the room was large and very nice. Our breakfast was served fast (we arrived at 9am) and was a full breakfast (bacon, eggs, toast, & hashbrowns). Rooms were clean... more

We (family with one kid of 11) stayed in the hotel on our way from Los Angeles to Yosemite. Hotel's location and surprising quiteness (it is just off the highway - but nothing is heard: we stayed on the first floor in a pool view room) are obvious advantages. Rooms are large, clean, reception staff is friendly, so on... The... more

The room was excellent, very clean with new modern furnishings, which included a fridge and microwave. The hotel grounds are wonderful especially the pool area which is surrounded by lovely flowers and large palm trees. There was a large coach party staying the same night we were there and they did use the pool until quite late so it was... more
