The staff was great but the hotel has seen better days! The room was spacious and clean but old and well worn. Carpet was dirty, shower was not working right, phone didn't work all the time we were there. We had an issue with all the construction workers in the evening, sitting and standing outside drinking beer and throwing their... More

It was ok for a quick one night stay on our way to san francisco from vegas. We were unfortunate enough to have a big group of men turn up and play music til early hours of the morning in the carpark. The area isnt safe which is something we discovered afterwards. Rooms were clean and value for the money... More

Granted the price was good, but Bakersfield is full of relatively acceptable places around $50/night. It was a little closer to our work destination than some of the other closer in town choices, but the physical aesthetics of the place were nasty! The continental breakfast is a choice between 2 cereals and juice. The motel promotes "hi speed internet" on... More

We were tired and it was getting late so ended up checking into this hotel. The front desk staff was very nice. Older hotel but looked like it was acceptable for the price. Once in the room we relayed you get what you pay for. TV reception that was fuzzy on an older TV. Internet that faded in and out.... More

My family and I stayed in this hotel over the night. We were on our way back home and it was too long of a drive so we decided to stop. This hotel was very convenient it is close to the freeway and not too expensive. The front desk clerk Michelle was very friendly informed us about the things the... More

Cheap, run down, almost vacant. Ice machine was broke even though they insisted it worked. When I persisted they gave me a bag of ice from their personal apartment behind the lobby. There's nothing there but a Jack in the Box, but the next exit north has a slew of motels and restaurants. Good place for truckers though, for the... More

Ceiling fans! Cappuccino machine! This is definitely a budget hotel with fancy hotel aspirations. Bed was clean. Front desk staff is very friendly. Well lit grounds. We felt safe. Breakfast is extremely continental but good. One can't go wrong by staying at this diamond in the rough.

We stayed there for 3 nights and found service to be very good. The room was clean and beds were firm. The room was okay. One draw back was the internet service was very weak and made surfing the web VERY slow. That was frustrating to use. The Continental breakfast was okay, but it is just a continental breakfast. This... More

Date of stay 21/03/13. Duration 1 night. We stopped here primarily to break our journey from Las Vegas to San Francisco. We were checking in quite late in the evening and just wanted somewhere to sleep. Free onsite car park. The receptionist was pleasant and check in was smooth. The room (no. 214) was a reasonable size and had an... More
