We originally booked a the LaQuinta but were disappointed when we arrived at the hotel. So we drove past the nearby Red Lion and Doubletree hotels as we knew both were pet friendly and we were traveling with two small dogs. There was a "hawk convention" (yes, live hawks) at the Doubletree, so we stopped in at the Red Lion... more

After reading the reviews I was a little leery. The minute I entered the lobby I knew everything was just fine. Friendly staff, let me into my room three hours early I had booked on Hotwire so my rate was very special. Some places put you into their back rooms then and don't really care. Not here...they put me a... more

We made a reservation on Hotwire and ended up with the Red Lion. Having never stayed at a Red Lion before I had no basis for comparing it to other Red Lion properties and was not sure what to expect. When I called to confirm my reservation someone answered immediately and was very professional and helpful on the phone. We... more

Hotel is a bit worn at the edges but the room was large and comfortable. Breakfast area was well taken care of and with an adequate array... more

Upon arrival the front desk staff was very casual, wearing polo shirts and talking to each other and not looking you in the eye. Room was average at best. Did have a microwave and fridge added in made it better. Was clean but the common areas! Yuck! The maids cart was left in the hall all night was still there... more

The Red Lion Hotel was a pleasant experience. We chose this hotel as they accepted our reservation traveling with 2 dogs. The room was large and nice; however the rooms had a slight odor to them. (Maybe just a closed up smell). The service was nice from the staff and the hotel was spacious. more

I usually come into town to visit family and stay at the Red Lion. Probably about 2-3 times per month. We have always requested room 296 (Suite/ 2 beds / smoking ) .. The last time we went I got to my Mother in Laws about 1pm..had lunch and went to the hotel about 2:30. Nancy ( who is usually... more
