Had family in town visiting and for the AYSO soccer tournament. The team was staying at this hotel so they chose this hotel to be with the team. I spent quite a bit of time with them, in addition to helping them get checked in and settled. The staff was ok, not too accommodating but not rude either. The grounds... More

Better facility than one would expect for the price, with a nice central garden and pool area and well furnished clean rooms. Convenient to Highway 99. The price was reasonable for what I got in a room. The facility does not insulate the sound between the upper and lower floors so I was awakened frequently by noises above me. The... More

We got a great deal using Hotwire. We did not expect much since we just wanted a cheap average hotel for a one night stay on our drive from Sacramento to Las Vegas. But we both felt the mattresses in our room were among the best we have ever experienced anywhere even at 4-5 star hotels! And the free breakfast... More

From the outside you will be hopeful that it's a nice place but when you go to your "pet-friendly room" you will feel like you stepped Into the inner city projects.......things broken or chipped, the sink stopper broken apart and a gaping hole, the sheets don't fit the bed and the bottom sheet kept coming up, toilet stopped up, Internet... The location is great and I thought from the fanciness of the lobby, that the room would be just as nice... I was wrong. The room was average, at best. the bottom of the doors are all chipped and the wood is showing. It did have a nice pool area and a small playground for the kids. They offer a... More

I asked to see a room before I booked because we always stay at name brand hotels and I am very picky about my bed, bedding, and pillows. There are not many pet friendly hotels in Bakersfield and this hotel had such good reviews I thought I could take a look. The room I was shown was in the main... More

On the positive side, the pool area is nice, the room was large and recently renovated, and the beds were comfortable. Otherwise, this is a large 2.5 star motel with a resort fee (??!!) The decor in the common areas is pretty ugly -- gold framed mirrors on every bit of wall space with cheap-looking "art" -- and the breakfast... More

Given the choice, don't choose this Hotel. Front desk just couldn't be bothered with just about anything. Ratty looking room, generally old and not kept up. If this is a 3 star hotel, I better reevaluate my concept of hotel ratings. One, or, 1 1/2, possibly. Fortunately, we were there for one night, we would have checked out if it... More

This place was not a bad stop for an overnight trip. The rooms were clean and for the price you really can't complain. There were a few things that could use improvement. Overall, would not mind staying here again if I get the same room. Place was quiet, clean and comfortable for a long day of driving.

In the daytime the place doesn't look half bad. I realize when I'm looking for a deal I am not getting the Waldorf Astoria, but this joint was advertised as "3 star". I'll give it one and a half stars. The pool is nice, I will say that, and the breakfast is cool. The staff has been trained in "make... More
