There are two other parks in the area that we frequent, depending upon whether we want the convenience of the city, or a peaceful, country setting. This time, what we needed was a place for a single night's stay, so quick that neither jacks nor slides were going to be deployed. A steak house we enjoy is a long walk/very... More

This is a wonderful place to camp. Clean all around. Laundry facilities, large bathrooms. Friendly staff. Couldn't believe the price for the accomadations. Would stop here any time we come back through.

Spacious, shady, pool, great wifi, bathrooms you could live in and kind people at the desk. Also, adobe little lighthouses that double as your hookup and they light up dimly at night to guide you to your rig!? Freaking great.

Easy to find, clean big bathrooms, showers, very quiet, staff was nice. Stayed two nights on separate trips. Really appreciated it was quiet as we really were just stopping en route. It also felt very safe for two women traveling alone.

We stayed here one night while traveling. The sites are nice, level and large. The staff are friendly. The bathroom is super clean and they have nice showers. I would give it 5 stars except they charge extra for a dog! Also paid for an extra vehicle. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

The owners have it figured out! Very friendly customer service, they actually treat you like a guest. WiFi works, tv works, wide roads, easy back in. Immaculately clean. Incredible b thru and showers, even a store with sundries. Grass between concrete pads. Level sites. Highway noise is a negative but all of above makes it tolerable. Big pat on the... More

We stayed there one night. We reserved about an hour before we got there. We didn't use any of the facilities except for the showers which were clean. The whole park was very quiet throughout the night. It cost us just over $30 with a Good Sam card. My only complaints are that the showers were not hot, they were... More

We first stayed here in 2011 & again now 2014, it is 25 minutes from Famoso Drag strip which is our reason for visiting Bakersfield. Park is very quiet where we were, behind office, no traffic noise. Park is very, very clean, showers were good. Good facilities, great spa & pool area.

We chose this mostly because of the location - a good stopover just out of LA before heading further north. On the outskirts of town near an industrial area, it was rather quiet apart from distant highway noise. The park was well equipped, selling propane near the front office. My only complaint is the road leading to the park -... More

We stayed here last year just passing through, and now we are about to arrive again today. Customer service is excellent. The campground is clean. The rates are decent. Lots of amenities and you can't beat that. By the way if you are denied a dog because of a certain breed it's not the owners fault. It's their insurance policy.... More
