We rented 2 of the cabins and 2 of the lodge rooms for us and our parents to stay in while we celebrated life, God's blessings on us, and our renewal of our wedding vows. We also used the conference room for our reception. The ceremony was held outside. The view before us and the arbor was gorgeous (even if... more

I stayed here because of the reviews and they were right on the mark. Glenn is very friendly and makes you feel at home. The cabin was large, comfortable and clean with an incredible sunrise view. Breakfast was good, not great ( I missed blueberry pancake day) and the hike down to the pond was worth the price you pay... more
Janice and Glenn are just wonderful easy going, family people. They work hard keeping the Sky Vue Lodge homey, friendly, and well stocked. The food is beyond excellent. The view is breath taking. We have been holding our retreat there for the past 11 years, and are planning to do it again next year. You will not be disappointed! more

Very nice and home like feeling. Tucked in the mountains. Nothing extravagant (sp?) Very nice owners and guests. The way America should be. I loved the back porch and breakfast. Not overpriced! Is it the Ritz Carlton? No! So if thats what you are looking for instead of rustic, you should stay in the city. Would definitely stay here again!... more
This was my forth or fifth stay at Sky-Vue. Usually, my family and I come in the fall when it is cool. This time we came for the Sunset Decoration which is in the middle of the hot, muggy summer. Fortunately, the air conditioning worked well in Cabin #3. I shared the 2 bedroom cabin with my adult son. We... more
Our family just returned from 6 great days at Sky-Vue!!! We were looking for an affordable place to stay where we could have some "down time" with our family prior to a wedding we were attending. What we were not expecting was the great family atmosphere, wonderful breakfast every morning, and the fabulous views from our backporch swing. My husband... more
