We were welcomed with a coffee cocktail, followed by a classic Colombian dinner, dressed as Colombians. Perfect atmosphere for families. The green aeras are wide and well taken care of, the views from most of the rooms are coffee fields. The hotel owns the biggest zipline circuit of Colombia and also produces its own coffee. The service is personal and... More

The so-called hotel which is rather a fazenda (still smelling like a fazenda due to the cattle and other animals behind the house) did not at all match our expectation. The rooms are furnished in a very rural, old-fashioned style - partially not well maintained. In the first room we were offered the shower did neither have warm nor sufficient... More

We spent three nights at this beautiful property, known as a finca which typically means a farm or ranch of some size. We stayed in somewhat modest cabins that proved to be extremely comfortable. At nights, we opened all the windows and let the cool mountain air wind through our room. The countryside around the finca is breathtaking, lush grasses... More

The environment is awsome with impressive vistas of green mountains and coffee plantations. If you are a couple the cabanas is the site to stay because the other sections have rooms too close to each other and in one in particular the balconies have no separations between them. The talk and hands on experience with the processing of coffee was... More

GREAT view , great food and better service. Really nice people. The Guadua Cabana totally recommended. The location is ok for most of the local attractions. It is really quiet at night, perfect for a good night of rest. They also sell the best own produced coffee.

After a long drive from the airport over very bumpy roads we arrived at the hotel which at first sight looked like a charming Hacienda / Finca. The staff were very friendly and offered us an isolated cottage in the woods which we declined in favour of a nice room with a balcony in the main block, which we thought... More

Spent 4 days here and thought it was merely OK, we thought it overpriced for what it is. Food was OK, room was good (we stayed in one of the Rustica rooms), wifi didn't reach our room but hey? Staff were nice even though we had only fairly basic Spanish, although they did turn out the lights and walk off... More

It took us an hour and a half to get from Armenia airport to the hotel- 50 km. We took a taxi to get there but it was the most expensive ride of all the hotels on the list. If you plan on going to Panaca, Salento, Cocora Valley etc the hotel is simply to far away. You will spend... More

Bosque de Saman is a holiday resort situated in some of the prettiest scenery in Colombia, right in the middle of the coffee growing region. The bedrooms are of a decent size although some of the bathrooms are small. Our group of 7 (three couples and a single lady) were allocated some of the better bedrooms. Some of the bathrooms... More
