Didn't look as though there were really any alternatives in what is just a transit hotel. At least they offered some early moring [awful] coffee! Very noisy over the weekend. Bands and functions everywhere around the hotel, below and above our room.

Stayed three nights at the Santa Anita traveling to and from a trip to Copper Canyon with S&S Tours, Sierra Vista, AZ. This hotel is in a convenient, quiet and safe area of Los Mochis. It is a classy property with clean modern rooms, very efficient shuttle service and a fantastic restaurant serving local fare. All employees were very friendly... More

I have stayed at this hotel twice now when driving vehicles south to Manzanillo. It has excellent security for your vehicle. The hotel is older but has a history about it that I enjoy. Do not expect the glitz and glamour of a new hotel but a hotel filled with wonderful character and wonderful people working there. It is also... More

I stay here sometimes when they run promotions of a three night and get the fourth night free. They are remodeling the rooms that is why I gave it a four star. The rooms are decent size and beds are comfy. The hotel offers a restaurant, bar (nice and small but noisy if they have an event like Valentine's so... More

A great and friendly staff , clean , great rooms . The food in the resterant is excellent(key lime pie). Although I have to say ; the old girl could use some TLC. If you can get the remodeled rooms ,they are very nice!

This hotel might have 5 stars, but in the 50s, when it was built. It definitely needs a big renovation. It was clean but the room had a bad smell of the humidity and dust, most probably from an old carpet. The aircondition did not work and the repairperson was not able to repair it. My boyfriend got stuck in... More

I booked one night here through Orbitz. They could not find the reservation, but they honored it anyway. My stay was mid-week during the off-season. I stayed in a remodeled room that was large, clean, and comfortable. All the service was excellent. The front desk clerk, the bellhop, and the restaurant waiter spoke some English. Free parking with a watchman... More

I have stayed at the Santa Anita and almost all of the other Baldarama hotels a number of times. Roberto has done an amazing job of growing his businesses over the years, and mostly for the better! I just returned from a stay at the Santa Anita and I ahve to say that it is a bit tired and in... More

Rooms are ok, need to be refurnished, service at the front desk was ok, service at the restaurant and bar waiters seem to be bother, need better actitud. Food order at the bar was good nothing special. The best was the Internet fast wifi, I think that this is the best choice in Los Mochis. Horrible tea and worse coffee,... More

Stayed here at the end of the Copper Canyon train journey. Well appointed, high standard rooms and fast Wifi. The hotel is quite generically western so after the very Mexican experience of El Chepe one does feel that you could be anywhere in the world. Check in/out process was very smooth. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Hotel... More
