Our group of 27 people was booked in for a night, returning from the Copper Canyon Tour. The train was over an hour late, however our guide had informed the hotel and asked them to delay dinner. The dinner was largely inedible, it must have set in a warming oven for hours - totally dried out. Breakfast was not much... More

The place is almost in downtown Mochis, so you can walk so many places around, we stay due Chape train tour, I was expecting a really nice service since is a 4 start hotel (at least they claim the are), lobby - front desk is weird, sometime they may answer a question some other they will ignore you, they do... The Santa Anita is part of a small chain of Mexican hotels and is located in the bustling downtown of Los Mochis. The staff speaks English and is quite friendly and helpful. There is a good bar and restaurant on premises and a safe parking lot. They will store luggage for you if you are catching a round trip on... More

This hotel is just average, rooms are nice and clean. I stayed over the weekend of November 7 - 9 and they had a sports group in house. They were noisy and the kids were running on the hallways and yelling. The food is OK but the restaurant associates have 0% of service attitude, kind of rude and not polite... More

this was a stop over after our trip to Copper Canyon. The hotel is very clean, the rooms nice, the staff very accommodating. And it's certainly popular with the local business people of the town. The restaurant was nice and we thought the food was initially quite good until my husband got sick from the undercooked tuna. He should have... More

Had a very pleasant overnight stay and they arranged for my transfer to the train station very early in the morning as the train departs at 6-00 a.m. Very friendly and helpful staff and their bar and restaurant were very good. I did feel though that there was no natural light coming into the corridors and the lighting was a... More

Didn't look as though there were really any alternatives in what is just a transit hotel. At least they offered some early moring [awful] coffee! Very noisy over the weekend. Bands and functions everywhere around the hotel, below and above our room.

Stayed three nights at the Santa Anita traveling to and from a trip to Copper Canyon with S&S Tours, Sierra Vista, AZ. This hotel is in a convenient, quiet and safe area of Los Mochis. It is a classy property with clean modern rooms, very efficient shuttle service and a fantastic restaurant serving local fare. All employees were very friendly... More

I have stayed at this hotel twice now when driving vehicles south to Manzanillo. It has excellent security for your vehicle. The hotel is older but has a history about it that I enjoy. Do not expect the glitz and glamour of a new hotel but a hotel filled with wonderful character and wonderful people working there. It is also... More

I stay here sometimes when they run promotions of a three night and get the fourth night free. They are remodeling the rooms that is why I gave it a four star. The rooms are decent size and beds are comfy. The hotel offers a restaurant, bar (nice and small but noisy if they have an event like Valentine's so... More
