We've been home two hours and already researching a return in the Summer... That's how good our weekend was! We arranged a 3 night stay at the Cottage Outpost and asked Voyageur Quest to organise dog sledding, snowmobiling and snowshoe hire for us (separate reviews for dog sledding and snowmobiling). On arrival at the chalet, Ivan was already waiting for... More

My extended family (15 in total) stayed at the Algonquin Log Cabin over New Year 2016 (3 nights). We were a mixed group; ages 5 - 72 and with a mix of Europeans (from the Netherlands) and Canadians. For our stay, Voyageur Quest organized the quintessential Canadian winter cabin experience; snowshoeing, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, sauna… and they did an amazing... More

My boyfriend and I was visiting his folks in Toronto and decided for a short visit to a nearby park, hence Algonquin. From the moment we arrive until we bid our farewell, we were well taken care of by Mark and his wonderful team. The log cabin was very comfortable and warm, fireplace constantly burning. We met 10 other travellers... More

What to do with 5 teenage grandchildren (12, 14&14, 15 and 17) and their parents over from the UK for two weeks holiday in Ontario. My advice, book a Canoe and Cabin trip in Algonquin National Park with Voyager Quest. For those who don’t know Algonquin Park is the size of Wales (the country not the animal) and has 1... More

The three-day, two-night canoe trip was amazing! Our family of four was matched with another family (with similar age children) of five for a wonderful canoe and camping trip with Cole, our Voyageur Quest guide. After learning to canoe and portage, which was hard (but satisfying) work, we paddled out to Tea Lake to set up camp. Cole was wonderful... More

My cousin and I elected to book the 3 Day Log Cabin Adventure through Voyageur Quest for a rare summer getaway. Our itineraries were all confirmed, credit cards charged and directions/map to the property received. We arrived at about 12:15 pm, and were greeted at the door by a guide who advised we could bring our bags into the cabin... More

Upon my arrival to the Algonquin Log Cabin, I was warmly greeted by one of the experienced and friendly guides who took care of us throughout our three day guided canoe trip. I was there along with a colleague for the Moose Photography Adventure. Mr. Rob Stimpson, professional Canadian photographer was there to accompany. After a tour of the log... More

Seven of us - three couples between the ages of 26 and 31, plus myself (early sixties), went on a three day (48 hour/two night) canoe trip in early July, guided by Cole. Five of the six travelers in the couples had never canoed much beyond a cottage dock. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. We did... More

Excellent 3 day guided canoe trip. Full Canadian Canoe Trip experience. Canoeing, portaging and camping. Saw 5 moose and heard them outside at night. Stunning lakes and meandering rivers to paddle through. Many loons and other wildlife. Any level of experience is fine. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the park and made delicious and creative meals for us.
