Food, accommodations, view and there was even lots to do if you don't mind a small drive, Algonquin Park and Haliburton wildlife & reserve. Good location for those wanting to explore Algonquin without camping etc. We stayed in the cottages. It had all we needed but it was a little windy for us to make best use of the free canoes, but we did maximise on the other amenities. Fantastic views from the room, although the cottage was a little worn around the edges. more

We were greeted at the door by Gary, the owner. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the accommodations to our liking. Really great place to stay - surprisingly comfortable with lovely views and good facilities - you dont expect spa baths this far into the countryside at this price so it is great! We had a great time at the Algonquin Lakeside Inn - good access to Algonquin Park (which is fabulous), lovely rooms by the lake and the staff are very friendly & informative.
