We stayed for 2 nights at the lodge. The bungalows with the lake view were very nice, and very quiet. The food in the restaurant was really awesome, we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast very much. A good choice of foods, nicely prepared and presented. Having booked a package including dinner, a lunch and a bottle of wine, we could... More

We stayed in Summer Day a cottage towards the edge of the resort. It was quiet and comfortable with a screened porch overlooking the lake. The meals were excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. We canoed and kayaked from the lodge and hiked the trail at the lodge as well as other Algonquin trails nearby. The boat was always... More

We stayed here twice this spring. The first time was for the Camp Tanamakoon open house and tour and the second was for 2 nights when our daughter attended camp Tanamakoon, which is not far and owned by the same people. We absolutely loved it here, the staff were amazing, the food was incredible, the setting was fantastic and just... More

If you love being immersed in nature and want to enjoy a 5-star culinary experience, this is the place for you! We loved everything about this place - the location in Algonquin Park, the well appointed cabin, the myriad of paddling equipment (kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, pedal boats, row boat), and the absolutely exquisite food. Foodies will love the selection... More

Just finished our honeymoon with a three day stay glamping at Bartlett lodge staying in the luxury tent. During our stay the staff were very accommodating and polite. The meals were amazing, comparable to any 5 star dining. The restaurant was very accommodating with my wife's meals as she is celiac and typically has a very limited menu which is... More

Hello, So glad that you were able to enjoy your honeymoon with us! Thank you for your thoughts about our dining room - our staff really appreciate the kind words. It was our pleasure to be able to accommodate your wife's celiac allergy and I am very glad that she felt as though there was enough choice. We hope to... More

The food is fantastic. The chef is very inventive and Marilyn the owner makes the most wonderful granola and pies. We stayed in a lovely cottage with a lake view that was very secluded and the farthest from the main lodge.

Hello, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us this year. Great to hear from our returning customers! You must have stayed in Spring Ice, a popular cabin for our couples looking for a quiet stay. We must admit that we too enjoy Marilyn's delicious pies and granola. Our young and talented team of cooks along with our... More

We stayed at Barlett Lodge for a couple of nights when our youngest son was attending camp at Pathfinder which is nearby. We had a very enjoyable stay which I would recommend without reservation. You however will need a reservation as the top summer weeks at Barlett Lodge are almost fully booked with regulars that know how to enjoy the... More

These were the words I used with Marilyn, the owner, and I think it captures the essence of Bartlett Lodge. I liken it to the Adirondack 'camp' culture of about the 1920s, but with outstanding modern cuisine, authentic to Canada. There is a lot to do in the park and at the end of the day it is the perfect... More

As an international business traveller I've had the opportunity to eat in many distinguished restaurants around the world and I have to say Bartlett Lodge is my favourite. You can always count on a great meal and good service. It's my "go to" place for special occasions. Enjoy.

We arrived at Algonquin park early, and got a speedboat within 5 minutes of calling one to get over to Bartlett. We've been there 3 times now, and we are sure to go back again! The cabins are pure luxury, with amazing beds, fully equipped bathrooms, fridges, and in the more expensive cabins, a personal outdoor seating area with a... More
