This feedback depands the registrations office. Here work in minimum four very unfriendly brats. Id starts with a unfriendly salutation. Then we asked about informations to rent a kayak, they only said us who we could call, but she mentioned they wouldn't call for us. We shoud go to the sellphones behind the office. The sellphones didn't work, so we... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in August. We had site #369 and it was huge with lots of privacy. We loved, loved our site. The park is kept beautifully, washrooms are cleaned regularly. The only problem was the water in the showers is way too hot. Children cannot shower with this temperature, it was too hot for... More

We are not regular campers. We have some gear, but drive-in camping is about as 'rough' as we can do. There are a lot of sites, but most have little privacy, like most of the provincial campgrounds. Some of the reviews talk about noise in section A. We didn't witness that at all. It was very quiet, yet booked solid.... More

This is a great campground with many large sites. The campground is very quiet during the week and a little noisy on the weekend. This is not unusual for a Ontario Park. It is close to Highway 60, but the traffic noise did not affect our stay. We were in site 314, which is very large and gives plenty of... More

We have been visiting Pog Lake Campground on Civic Holiday Long weekend. Must to admit that the campground is very nice. As I have mentioned before in my several others reviews that Algonquin Park needs lots of improvement in customer service. To check in can take you more than 1 hour. We have been camping at C section of Pog... More

Poor rating is not given to the environment. It's all about the park management and policy. We booked our camp site at last minute and it's a long weekend. We arrived a week before the holiday, we wanted to switch to another park and extend our stay. However, we were told that we have to pay 50% penalty instead of... More

We recently returned from our camping trip in Pog Lake Section A. Not the greatest campsite but still accommodating for a Tent Trailer. There was a lot of traffic noise from Hwy 60 during the day but tends to get a little quieter at night. Fire wood wasn't the greatest. We had more smoke fires than actual fires due to... More

We stayed at Pog Lake, section A, site 132 in July 2015. This is a large site next to the water. We were happy with how clean it was when we arrived. It doesn't have much view of the lake because the underbrush has filled in, but it does have a short trail (downhill) to the water where we launched... More

If you don't want to hear a lot of noise at night and want to feel one with nature, stay away from A and B campgrounds. We have stayed two summers now and will be returning next year. It's awesome. From C campground, you can take a 15 min walk to the awesome beach in "A" and then leave all... More

For our first camping trip at Algonquin Provincial Park, we stayed at Pog Lake Campground site # 410 for it is adjacent to water tap , near the comfort station, the ground is flat (as supposed to lumpy) & wide and is surrounded by tall pine tress. The staff at the reception were nice, making sure that we had a... More
