One of the most beautiful parks I have ever been too. Camped at the Kiosk campground, which is quite small in comparison to the others. I recommend this campground to anyone who is looking for a more low key and private camping experience. My girlfriend and I and friends went in late August and only experienced a few black flys... I don't know where to begin! This campground is probably the best I have ever been too in Ontario. I will admit my girlfriend and I and friends were blessed with incredible weather, which helped a lot. The sun was shining and the weather was nice and hot, the bugs were pretty much non existent. We only stayed for 2... More

We stayed here three nights in a pop camper in July. Black flies were bad but overall, this campground was perfect for us! There are only about 8 sites on one side of the campground and for one day, we were the only ones there. Hpe peaceful and relaxing! Kids loved swimming and fishing. My daighter caught a 4 1/2... My boyfriend and I stayed at Kiosk campground in Algonquin at the end of July/2015 and had a truly amazing time. There was absolutely no cell phone service here and it was quiet even though every camp site was booked. It was not as private as we had hoped but it was so beautiful that we barely even noticed! Check... More

it was the best algonquin experience i ever had. quite campground with much less people compared to highway 60 camp grounds. extraordinary views from the campsite as well as the lake. you can book kayaks from office or outside vendors and explore the beauty of the lake for the whole day. campsite 17 has the largest space with great privacy.... We had an enjoyable stay for over a week in July at this campground in Algonquin Park. The site, Number 20, was huge. This side of the camp was very quiet, in a wooded setting with a great view of the lake. There were a number of mosquitoes and black flies in the second week of July but probably due... More

We stayed at Kiosk Lake Campground in early October. We had orignally booked site # 12 but upon arrival the wonderful lady in the office informed us we would be getting neighbours later that afternoon and reccomended site # 17 instead. We went down to #17 to find an oasis! It was larger than all the other sites and is... More

very beautiful campground, its small and quiet. the only downside for me its there is no shower there, so you might need to bring a shower bag or just swim at the lake (WATCH OUT FOR LEECHS) there is canoe rental there, and the cost ~$35/day. overall this is the most beautiful and quiet campground i've ever been, and the... Peaceful, beautiful, nice camp grounds. It`s out of the way so when we were there it was basically vacant and we easily booked a waterfront space. We docked our canoes right at our site and we spent a whole day exploring the lake. I would gladly make the drive (from Barrie) again to spend a couple days here.

We stayed at the Kiosk campground which is located about 20 min west of Mattawa (or 45 min east of North Bay). The Good The campground it small (only 24 sites) so it is nice and quiet. Sites 1 - 17 have a flush toilet, a sink and a water station for drinkable water. You can buy firewood and kindling... More
