Seafood lovers paradise, from the Prawns (small lobsters) to the platters via the Pate, this pub is a must do for us when nearby. Good beers, friendly staff and a sanctuary when the weathers being "Scottish". We'll be back in October with friends and can't wait.

We spent one night in this traditional three star inn/hotel. Our room was small but very pleasant with a tiny bathroom (with good shower and soft towels) and a good bed. It was also very clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast contained mainly only hot choices on order (hearty servings and very tasty) but there were also the... More

Fabulous accommodation with two bedrooms leading onto a private secure garden great for children and pets. Excellent seafood served in the restaurant. Unfortunately the waiting staff let the place down, they were glum and dispassionate, it seemed as if going to work was a real chore. Come on girls, a smile, good evening and good morning goes a long way.

This was my 4th visit to Plockton. On 2 previous occasion I stayed at the hotel but this time stayed elsewhere but visited for a meal one evening. We stayed in Plockton for 4 nights so we ate at all 3 of Plocktons main eateries (here, the Plockton Hotel and Plockton Shores) and once again, as last time, the meal... More

This is not the first visit to Plockton or The Plockton Inn. I was out to impress my Canadian visitors and no better place to visit than Plockton. I had stayed at the Inn before so I knew what to expect. The rooms are clean and pleasant enough, what you would expect from a inn / hotel of this size.... More

We arrived at 1pm on a busy Saturday lunchtime at the beginning of August whilst on holiday nearby. We had not made a reservation but the menu displayed outside looked very appetising, especially the 'daily specials'. Upon entering a waitress happily showed us to an available table by the window at the front of the bar area. The waitresses were... More

We arrived without booking as visiting Plockton was a last minute decision. The welcome was warm and friendly and we were sitting at our table and drinking cask ale within 5 minutes of arriving. We all had the fish chowder which was filling and tasty. Good choice of local real ales all reasonably priced, a true fish-lovers paradise with local... More

First time visit to tranquil Plockton, arrived here on a whim whilst travelling back south from Skye and stayed for one night at the Inn. We had a large room across the street in the hotel's other premises which was very clean and comfortable. The well stocked bar was awash with good whisky and the seafood platter was a joy... More

Oh my word, the food. It is out of this world - fresh seafood straight from the boat, some of it via their own smokehouse. We've eaten in other place in Plockton but the Plockton Inn really is the best. And their wine list is excellent. Very friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful. We'll be back!
