This is without doubt the most wonderful B&B in Plockton. Ann and Rhua were the most charming hosts. Ann could not have made us more welcome, providing everything we needed for our stay. Rhua took us for a walk around the village and what a lovely dog she is. Ann is so thoughtful and full of local knowledge. It was... More

We stayed 3 nights at Herons Flight in August 2014. From the moment we arrived Ann made us feel at home in her lovely home and we were also greeted by Rhua the dog who we took for two walks around the village. Plocton is an amazing place and the Isle of Skye is on your doorstep to explore. The... More

Plockton is one of the most beautiful towns in the Highlands and Heron's Flight is one of the best B&Bs. It offers warm hospitality, comfortable accommodation, great views and an excellent breakfast. The charming landlady, Ann, is helpful and as a long-time resident she is very knowledgeable about the local area. What really sets Heron's Flight apart are all of... More

Three most enjoyable nights at the Heron's Flight B&B. Royally looked after by the wonderful Ann. Our room had spectacular views due to its perfect position on the shore. Watched herons fishing just a few yards from the house. Lovely garden and a house full of character. Would not think of staying anywhere else on future visits to the Plockton... More

Wonderful views, amazingly helpful owner (Ann), lovely big room and very affectionate Cavalier spaniel (Rhua). Very reasonable price no cooked breakfast but so much to eat we could hardly make a dent in it.

Absolutely loved this b&b, the location, the room, the breakfast, the views and most of all Anne the owner!! Set opposite the castle and just off the high street on the loch the views were just amazing from the bedroom. The bedroom was large, with two sinks and a lovely comfy bed! Furniture was beautiful antique wood in style and... More

You can't be a the view from the sunroom and the bedrooms. They look right out at the harbor and Duncraig castle. Ann serves a good breakfast, attends to your every need, and is full of information on what to do and where to go. We had a big room, filled with awesome antiques.

Run by Ann, this B&B has history, location, and hospitality combined to feel "at home" even if the weather does not. The property built & crafted by Ann's late husband has a cosy touch with views across the Loch, sheltered from the worst of the Atlantic storms.Within easy walking distance of the village centre, pubs & eateries, it is an...
