My wife and I stayed here for Hogmanay in this family run hotel for the second time. A great friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff make for a memorable stay. A well stocked bar and real ales plus fantastic food make sure you will return again and again. Plockton is a great base for exploring Wester Ross and the Isle of... More

Last minute booking on a trip around Scotland. We got a nice wee en suite double in an annexed building a few doors down from the main hotel. Lovely breakfast included, large variety of choice. Absolutely beautiful surroundings.

Stayed at the plockton hotel for one night in november, after a long day driving it was fantastic to be greeted so warmly by the staff and be given the last available room. To make things even better we got a 2 course dinner and breakfast included in the room price and the fantastic staff were more than happy to... More

We drove up the West Coast to admire the autumn colours at the end of October and were rewarded with day after day of glorious golden views. We stayed at the Plockton Hotel and had a beautiful light, airy room overlooking the harbour. The view was framed by two palm trees lit with fairy lights at night. Dinner was delicious... More

Been here many many times over the years and never had a bad meal or experience here yet. Love how friendly the staff are especially sarah one of the barmaids who always greeted us and every other customer with a smile. I noticed how when an elderly gentleman came in and was struggling with his money how gentle patient and... More

Plockton is a storybook, quaint coastal town about 20 minutes by car from the Skye Bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh. The tiny town is perfectly suited for tourists, with some great restaurants, lovely scenery, and even a Scotrail station. While there is only one, single-track road in and out of town, and while this initially worried me that Plockton would... More

We stayed here for just two nights this time and we regretted we hadn't allocated more time. This is a cozy, friendly family run hotel overlooking Loch Carron ( the loch is just across the road). Our room #8 had a wonderful view of the loch and beyond and it was a delight to look out each morning. The room... More

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in April. I was given a spacious hotel to the rear of the hotel, overlooking the back garden which was very clean and modern. The room had a private outdoor space which was nice to enjoy a cup of tea in. The hotel has a private garden on the shore front, where... More

This is a beautiful little hotel. A great location if you're touring the Isle of Skye. It is so quaint and charming with a very friendly staff. I was in the large suite which was very comfortable, shower and tub, kettle for tea. Just perfect. Great food too. The best fish and chips I've ever had. And I am still... More
