What a lovely, comfortable and friendly place. The hosts welcome you as if you are a member of the family and nothing is too much trouble. You have a wonderful view of the whole of Skye from the house and there are 2 lovely beaches just a few minutes walk from the property - one of which has white coral... More

Staying here was a wonderful start to our holiday. The room was large with beautiful views. We slept peacefully. Joan was very helpful, she knows how to look after people. You have to share a bathroom but Joan is upfront about this and for one night it doesn't really matter. I will definitely want to stay here when I come... More

My husband and I went to Plockton and were frustrated could not find a place and suddenly we saw the sign board. Followed the instruction, we arrived Driseach and very luckily there is a last twin - bed room, need to share bathroom with others but we don't mind ! Joan was so nice and also her husband, we felt... More

Rooms are simple and quiet. B&B is located outside Plockton. Free Wifi. B&B was full at that time, so we (4 = 2 adults/2 kids) had to share bathroom which was on other floor with for 4 other guests. Really too many people for one bathroom.

A lovely B & B enjoying superb views over to Skye. We were made to feel very welcome with a cup of tea and home made shortbread. We stayed in the family room which had 2 double and a single bed giving us plenty of space. Great breakfast in the morning. You can walk into the town in 15 minutes... More

The welcome and care at this quiet b and b away from the village was exceptional. Large room, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast - what more could one ask? New laid eggs were fried, boiled or scrambled by Joan, who went out of her way to please.

This is essentially someone's home and it is a great location to explore Plockton and Skye. Great views over to Skye from some rooms. Bedrooms are simple but great for the price. Joan welcomed us with tea and cake ( which was exceptional), and the breakfast was good in terms of variety and quality.

We booked at last minute and what a fantastic place to stay. A very warm welcome from Iain, who recommended a restaurant to eat in that evening. the rooms that we had were large and homely. Shared bathroom but for guests only and that did not cause a problem at all. Nice views of Skye when the weather cleared. When... More

We turned up out of the blue when we couldn't face the midges and from the second we booked in we were made to feel like family. Joan and Ian are truly wonderful people, who can't do enough for guests. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra day in the area, then were forced to stay an extra... More

Excellent value b&b in a croft about 1 mile outside Plockton with amazing views across to the Cuillins of Skye. We were greeted with a fresh pot of tea with home made cake on arrival by the owners who have lived in the area all their lives. No ensuite but the bathroom is for guests only. Very good breakfast too.... More
