Nice and large room, with shower in the room. Excellent and rich dinner served, richt Scottish breakfast is included (there are no other restaurants nearby). Very nice setting in the garden. Great value for the money and friendly staff. Perfect place or outdoor activities and nature, don't go there if you want to have disco nightlife and action.

Borgie Lodge is a great place to stay if you are visiting the north of Scotland. It's in a lovely setting and the lodge and gardens are very attractive. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room on the first floor. The room was nicely decorated with tea & coffee making facilities and large windows. One of the plus... More

We took the last room there at 9 pm at night and a.d even though the kitchen was closed the manager served up soup and sandwiches for us. He was very friendly and obliging. The lodge was the sort of Scottish lodge I have always wanted to stay in, tartan carpet, large comfy rooms, quiet reading rooms downstairs and yet... More

Borgie is actually about 9 miles from Tongue, but you really don't mind as the drive there is so beautiful. This is a very friendly hotel in a fairly isolated part of the country, but when you get there it feels very cosy with a very comfortable room. We were worried that we hadn't booked dinner, but were told that... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Borgie Lodge Hotel and had a great relaxing break. The staff were very helpful and the food was delicious. The rooms were comfortable with lovely bay windows and very soft and comfy beds.

We were the only people staying in the hotel which was surprising. Our room was on the ground floor...not big but comfortable. Wood panelled walls and ceiling. Ensuite was very small...apparently bigger upstairs!. Good bar with wood burning stove. Fun atmosphere with locals. We ate in the bar. We had prawn cocktail and whitebait for starters followed by scampi. Jimmy... More

Good satalite tv service and exceptional food and service. Nice wee bar at the back with friendly locals. Jim and his staff did absolutley everything i could have asked.... More

I visited the borgie last week for a meal with family. On arrival a lovely homely log burner was blazing. So nice and warm and relaxing. Nice variety in the menu. The food took hardly anytime to come. I ordered the chicken goujons , which were lovely thick pieces of chicken and a lovely light batter coating with a little... More

Well it was steak and all the trimmings. Myself Daughter and Son in Law. What a lovely place the bar is very snug log burner and good company with the locals. Free pool table lost three games but the food made up for it. The steak was perfectly cooked to order and all the trimmings just right. Tomato, onion rings,... More

Worth Five Stars ten times over. Great rooms, fantastic food, great location and the most friendly staff in the highlands. Jimmy and all staff made us feel most welcome. Quiet secluded location, spectacular scenery and all you could ever wish for in the Scottish Highlands. Try a packed lunch during your stay! Haste ye back? Most definitely!
