The Ben Loyal is a typical old inn. Rooms were very small as was the bathroom. But clean. We arrived mid afternoon and they kept the cook there to make us some lunch. Good Pub Grub. 3 nights in May 2006. For an area with limited options, Ben Loyal is a good choice. Rooms a bit on the small side but VERY comfortable beds. Food was not as good as I would have preferred (fillet of cod was not boneless!). View from the restaurant and guest lounge was superb. Excellent pub attached popular with the locals. more
