We arrived by chance and were welcomed with open arms. A great room and excellent breakfast. Angela was very gracious and helpful as to the local sights and a good place for an evening meal. If you are the area and looking for a place to stay, this is it! Very clean and reasonably priced. One of our best choices... More

Brilliant Guest House - 2 employees stayed here whilst working in the area. They could not fault the accommodation, hosts or food and they were looked after impeccably, with nothing being too much trouble. We highly recommend Tigh-Nan-Ubhal and will certainly be using them for any future trips to the area. Many thanks R.W. BELL (electrical)

This beautifully presented guest house is well worth a stay. I arrived on spec and greeted with a friendly face. The room was more of a suite with a bedroom area throughout to a dressing room and then thought to the en suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The following morning started with a... More

I stayed here for one night in September during my John O'Groats to Lands End cycle ride. After a long and wet day's riding I couldn't have ended up in a nicer place. The room was warm and comfortable, and breakfast was absolutely lovely. All in all, probably the best place to stay in Tongue!

We had room 3, which was lovely, nicely decorated, and the owner showed us into the bathroom on checking in, which was obviously something of a pride and joy. Spa bath, large shower cubicle and I had to control my eyebrows from raising through the roof at the white leather seats and glass coffee table ...... in same bathroom. Lovely... More

We visited this gueshouse this summer and we liked it very much. Beautiful and very clean room, enormous bathroom. Great hospitality and service. We left a book behind, by mistake, and Angela send it right back to us.

We left our booking to the last minute and were redirected by another establishment. We did not regret it. It was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, we were spoilt at breakfast and the hospitality was second to none. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

We came across this B&B by chance when touring the Highlands and everything about it was first class. It was comfortable, spotless and the room had everything we needed including lots of space to dry out our bike gear. The breakfast was amazing and we could hardly move after eating far too much of everything which was cooked to perfection.... More

Staid there just for one night but it was worth it. Very nice guys, could even use their laptop, my laundry has been done free of charge without any request. Next time we're traveling near by, we'll stop over again, FOR SURE!!!

Whilst riding JOGLE me an my girlfriend stayed here. We were lucky enough, after a hard days cycle, to walk in and make a reservation. The room was amazing and had a jacuzzi bath which was just what we needed. The bed was comfortable, the surrounding area is amazing and Angela and Jimmy are perfect hosts. Will definitely one day...
