Despite having booked a "deluxe double" upstairs, we found ourselves shoehorned into a damp ground floor "small twin", as the deluxe double was apparently being refurbished. In the middle of "nowhere" is this really great bed and breakfast lodge. We had a great overnight stay in a comfortable and very clean house, great food and great bedrooms. Slap bang in the middle of nowhere, this b+b was a real find. Stayed in a lovely room, which wouldn't have disgraced a boutique hotel. Lovely guest house in tiny hamlet Stoer about 6 miles north of Lochinver up a narrow single track road. Owners are very welcoming, with tea by an open fire on arrival - rooms are well furnished to a high standard and the food is excellent.
