We stayed in this B&B whilst travelling around the highlands and have to say it was the highlight of all the B&B's we visited. The owners were very accommodating even though we booked over the phone on the road for that night. They knew they weren't going to be in when we arrived so left the key in the porch... More

Self check in good idea-works well. Owner does not stay on property, you need to phone a mobile if any problems. But you have to go outside for signal. Breakfast was Scottish Breakfast. Although no healthier options on display, if you asked they would try an get for you. Room was clean and well furnished. Internet access was available. Heard... More

We were very pleased to find Tigh Lios while backpacking. The self check-in was a great idea and the room we chose was pleasant and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and the lady serving was very helpful and pleasant.

We stayed one night in this B&B and were on room 10 (a double with shared bathroom). The bed was comfy, but the faux fur blanket at the foot end left a lot of small hairs on the small carpet on the floor. The bathroom was clean enough, but certainly not immaculate like others mentioned! Breakfast was ok. But during... More

If you are looking for a B&B in Lochinver you will not go wrong with the Tigh Lios. It is decorated to a really high standard and is immaculate throughout. My husband and I were really impressed and enjoyed the buffet style breakfast which was presided over by the owner and for whom nothing was a trouble. He also booked... More

We found this accomodation through Visit Scotland. The location is perfect, the rate was really good. We were three and they gave us two rooms in the upper floor with a splendid view on the bay. The rooms were not en-suite (even if they have some available) and we had to share the only one bathroom with other three rooms.... More

We stayed overnight here, on our return from touring in Orkney. Lochinver turned out to be a picturesque village on a very beautiful peninsular. We are very glad we went there. Our accommodation was very nice and well priced, with lovely views from the window. Entirely comfortable and good value. Recommended.

My family and I stayed there for a night. It was very clean and the welcome was great, but to me it was more of a hotel than a B&B. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom very nice, though the water, after the first shower (we were in a family room) was very cold. We could have used a... More

I have stayed in many different types of accomodation including hotels and B& B in the LochInver area. This is definately the best accomodation I have stayed in over the 26 years visiting the area. The entire establishment is very modernly decorated and spotlessly clean. There were three of us sharing a room which had one double and two single... More
