The location is just perfect, close to Callander but you still feel in the sticks, it's also a great base to explore the beautiful Trossachs and there are quite a few lovely towns and villages near... more

The hot tub was a personal highlight. Be aware that there is no food or condiments provided in the cabins, so if you are planning on self catering... more

We were not disappointed,... more

We stayed in cabin 24 one of the basic ones and thought it great, a double room upstairs with en-suite shower, downstairs had a twin room , shower room, kitchen and living room. The kitchen had a dish washer, micro etc and was well stocked with utensils but you didnt get any... more

We have stayed in cabins before elsewhere in the UK but decided to stay in Scotland this time and book to stay in a golden oak cabin. We found the cabins clean and tidy(burns in the carpet) but let down with the location(No 17) was right on the main road through the camp so our so called private hot tub... more

This is a fabulous place to relax and unwind from the pressures of daily life. We rented a 2 bed pet friendly silver birch with a wonderful outdoor hot tub. The site is exactly what we wanted, quiet peaceful and reasonably remote, although shops, pubs etc only a short drive away. The cabins are well equipped and the double height... more

Strathyre is a lovely place and forest holidays cabins are amazing. We booked a cabin with hot tub and lakeside view and it was soooo worth the extra money. We had the last cabin of about 6 alongside the lake, it had 2 bedrooms, living area with kitchen and lovely log burning fire and 2 bathrooms. The hot tub was... more
