We stayed here and had our evening meal & drinks, on a wet & windy sat evening. We reserved through laterooms and felt that the the double room price was excellent value for money. We were in room 5 which was a very nice spacious room, clean and looks to have been recently refurbed ie new carpet, large extra king... More

We arrived at the Inn having cycled through a blizzard, soaking wet. Despite our appearance we were made very welcome. Nothing was too much for the staff, they went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our clothes and shoes were dried for us. The food was excellent. We are looking forward to our next... More

We visited here for drink and snack as it allowed dogs in. Lovely gentleman served us and chatted away. A nice fire was on the go. Would like to visit here again if we are back in the area, particularly in an evening as it felt very warm and welcoming when it was quiet during a rainy afternoon.

Just brought the new year in here with friends, we were made very welcome from the time we arrived. We had a bar meal at night which was very good and then the entertainment that was on was very typical Scottish Hogmanay, with people playing accordion, bagpipes, guitar with singing, and just before the new year arrived the owners handed... My friends and I spent one night at the Inn, it is very comfortable and the rooms were very warm, we were given a good welcome. The food is reasonable but the ale is excellent and the bar is a friendly place to have a meal.

My husband stayed here with a friend for a weekend. The room was clean and recently refurbished. The hotel was comfortable and they were given a warm welcome from the friendly owner. The food including breakfast was more than adeqate and there was a real fire. They paid £105 for two nights B&B for two people, excellent value for a... More

The room was OK, the evening meal was good but breakfast was a bit slow out of the blocks. Packed lunch was adequate, an important consideration when hiking. The building has some character and the town of Strathyre is very pretty.

We have just enjoyed three nights at the Inn at Strathyre and everything was great. A fun Saturday night with the locals and dinner of pigeon breast and duck breast. Host Steve could not have been more accommodating for our requirements including an early breakfast on our last morning. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious and for the money was... More

We don't like giving negative reviews but feel in a spirit of honesty that we have to. This was the only place in the village to eat, so we went in and found a group of locals at the bar who appeared not to have moved since 1979. We braved it and ordered some food - nobody else was eating... More

as a local I highly recommend that you do not visist this pub as the owener has a serious problem towards customers that have an opinion!!!!!!! I food is very very bland, not your usual pub food, not even a steak pie on the menu !!!!!!!! only reason this pub is doing ok is because other two pubs are closed... More
