Absolutely recommend this warm ,cosy, relaxing bed and breakfast . We travelled from Dumfries (not a great trip) both my husband and myself after working all day with my elderly Mum, drizzly rain light growing dim windy roads no fast way of going ! Mum in back of car like the children in the past , are we nearly there... More

We stayed here for a single night following a wedding at Wedderburn Castle. The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was nice to stay at a B&B with a king size bed. Breakfast was lovely and tasty, with lots of locally sourced products. Chris and Dave were helpful in sourcing a taxi, and gave excellent directions. Hopefully we will... More

A perfect location for exploring The Borders --- charming house, and hosts to match. Dave and Chris are, without a doubt, two of the nicest people we've met. So thoughtful, so thorough in their willingness to provide top-service. Book an evening meal with them, the salmon is outstanding. Options for breakfast include smoked salmon, smoked haddock, and outstanding house-made marmalade.... More

The couple who run this bed and breakfast are so very friendly and helpful. The room that I had was very comfortable, clean and tidy. I stayed here for 2 nights, the service was excellent. David and Chris Dixon were so helpful and attentive, I couldn't have expected anymore. The whole place was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and plenty of it.

I stayed here during a cycling trip from Edinburgh to Newcastle. The proprietor (Dave) couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. He even let us put our bikes in his garden shed so they wouldn't get wet overnight. Upon our arrival (considering we had just cycled 50 miles over rather large hills) Dave was fussing to show us around, but... More
